If you've never wheelied into the courthouse, grabbed the lady judges jugs, winked, and got off in every way you need to have gotten off, then go back to AI.

I'm not sure the situation that he was in, but either way: This is why it's always a good idea to leave yourself some sort of out. Never stop at a light behind a car in such a fashion where you couldn't scoot between rows of cars or up the shoulder if someone behind you decided not to brake.

What makes that watery/warbling sound at idle. I've only heard that once before when I rode up to a light behind someone who had a custom made old harley.

Ola posted:Well, that's pretty much all it is. Heavy and expensive, but a proper electric scooter available right now. At least I think it is. Weight wise it's 234kg, halfway between a T-Max and a Silver Wing, so not out of line for a maxi-scoot. One price I found on a brief search shows 7k pounds/11k euro so pricey, but not unreasonable. Less than a lovely car, anyway. 35-55 (55-88km) mile estimated range, 100kph top speed. It's a start, at least.

I used to really want one for commuting, but as mentioned elsewhere, my new job doesn't require that. All I need is Gene Kelly's dancing shoes and singing voice - 7 mins by foot is fantastic.
