It might be like those Rialto films that went out of print, and will come back in print in a few months, or it might be a few years. Yeah I definitely got boned this time. I didn't even get the eBay OOP bonus from it. Still, I'm not gonna snap up the SD version again. Ran has got to be a hugely important film to them, I think they'll work it out pretty soon. Speaking of getting boned on eBay, I finally found someone selling a copy of Criterion's Kanal outside of the box set, but got outbid in the final seconds. loving snipers. I have no feelings one way or the other about Cronos. Blade 2 was awful, but Pan's Labyrinth was okay.

According to Image, #482 is indeed 2 or 3 Things I Know About Her: - New, restored high-definition digital transfer - Archival television interviews: the first featuring Vlady on the set of the film, the second with Godard engaged in debate with a government official on the subject of prostitution - New video interview with Godard friend Antoine Bourseiller - A visual essay cataloguing the multiple references in the film - New and improved English subtitle translation - PLUS: A new essay by Sasha Frere-Jones

Amazon is offering customers the chance to vote on a title for Criterion to release on Blu-Ray later this year. The choices are: Au Revoir Les Enfants Down By Law Howards End Kwaidan Picnic at Hanging Rock For me, the easy choice was Picnic at Hanging Rock... but Kwaidan would be nice too.

I picked up Science is Fiction but I haven't opened it yet because I'm confused about the packaging.
