Crude, Hjertestop and Closing In were great. Friend messed up and booked Blacklisted on the show and no one obviously cared. CNM, would you be down to dub some tapes for me of the swankys/gai and some other stuff? I can trade or just pay/provide tapes

Yeah Hjertestop was really fun in AZ. Apparently their roadie got a baggie of coke from someone in California on their way here. They got stopped by boarder patrol in AZ somewhere and the main singer of Hjerestop ate the baggie so he didnt get busted! It was just really funny how he told the story. They will be back here in a week and a half, hopefully my finals dont get in the way of seeing them again.

My band just got done recording our first song for our demo yesterday. I've never been in a real band before, so I'm pretty loving excited about the entire process, and really happy with how this came out. http://www.myspace.com/lightsleeperband Influences are along the lines of Latterman/HWM/Lawrence Arms I guess. Would like to get some honest outside opinions. Thanks

Hey people in this thread from Montreal, my friend's band are playing their first show this Saturday, and I'm probably going to drive up from Boston to see it. They're more like Ted Leo punk than most of this thread, but I figure at least some of you would be into it. http://www.myspace.com/thelongsirens The show is at Gert's Bar at 9PM. This lady is opening.

Not an Anthem posted:Have a list of tapes? Is all your stuff digitized? I don't have a list of all my tapes unfortunately, but I have a lot of that stuff in mp3 format. Here's a list of some Japanese noisepunk stuff I have on my comp already: GAI: "Extermination" flexi, both demos, "Total Control" CD (rare demo/live stuff). Swankys: "Very Best of Hero" LP (the most crucial Swankys release), and most other things too. Confuse: Every recording that I know of including all circulating live tapes. Gess: "Suffer Damage" demo Sieg Heil: "First Demo Tracks 1984" LP Napalm: discography CD State Children: "Bombshelter For Moneymaking!" flexi Tranquilizer: 1st flexi Z: "Violence Action" flexi Deef: "Real Control" demo Let me know if any of that sounds appealing!

I just put some records up on ebay for the singer of Government Warning. Spend lots of money on them so he can afford to go to Europe. It's some test presses and other limited stuff that doesn't come up very often. http://shop.ebay.com/merchant/answersyouseek
