I set up an actual physical radio to prepare for Adam's (sadly temporary) return. This feels weird, this is the first time I've listened to Loveline on the radio since I was much younger. Do we have any idea when he's coming back on? Is he going to be a guest? Who else am I hearing talking besides Drew and the guest right now (Jamie Kennedy)? Am I hearing an engineer being cohost? Edit: I'm a moron, its AFI that's there. I need to listen for more than 1 minute before posting confused. Drew does care too much about the guests when its just him. I just got to the September 12, 2001 loveline episode from the huge torrent, and was wondering if anybody knows if a recording from 09-11 is out there somewhere as well. They specifically mention they are "dedicating another night" to talking about it, so they definitely did a show that night.

So aside from that twitter update, where else has it been confirmed that Carolla will guest host for a week? And that tweet doesn't even say it's a full week, just that he'll be on the show "next week."

I didn't hear it myself, but someone on the Adam Carolla boards said Drew and Anderson spoke about it on Loveline and it was like "Drew: "By the way, you might see Adam..." Anderson: "I believe, yeah... I've heard some rumors..." Drew: "Yes, some rumors...that Adam Carolla might be joining us..." Anderson: "Maybe rollin' by for a few nights..." Drew: "More than a few nights, in the near future. Like maybe in a week or so. So keep tuned for that and spread the word if you're interested to hear Adam and Drew back again." Someone else on those boards said it better than I could "this is what it must have been like when people found out WWII was over." I keep checking LoveLine Show / Drew's Twitter for a definite Adam's back date because I need to hear them now, augh!  Actually for any fans of LoveLine-esque fun but adult discussion (or LoveLine drops for that matter) I've just started a new Podcast with 2 friends/LoveLine fans that someone may enjoy if bored: The Porn Identity Podcast. We look at a different genre of Porn each week from A-Z until we've covered it all, and discuss the psychology behind it, gender attraction, that kind of stuff. We're just starting out, but at the very least you may enjoy a Minka drop or two.

Truly excellent news. Anyway, I was hoping for a little help. I was talking to one of my favorite professors who is leaving, and she mentioned that she used to listen to Loveline back in the day. And she mentioned one bit that I think I remember, but am hoping to find. It's a girl who calls in and she's got the whole stock of Loveline problems. And Adam goes "Well, I don't do this often... but perhaps you should find Jesus Christ?" I wanna say I've heard it lately, so its perhaps the second half of 2002? Anyone, if anyone knows what show that's from I would appropriate it.

There was one of those on the random stream just the other day. It was a guest show with that guy from Dumb & Dumber-er I think? If I'm not mixing it up? The caller was a 15 year old girl who just had a foursome and was afraid that her older female friend (who was with her and the two guys in the foursome) was having the hots for her. Drew & Adam started prodding and they went to bet on age of molestation and it turned out she was molested by an uncle, a friends' father, her babysitter (who was also her neighbor) and the older girl from school (but earlier). I might be mixing it up though, I was listening pretty much every day at work this week.

I loved Harland and even if I didn't agree with all of Adam's points I do love hearing him so fired up. Besides, his stance wasn't so much pro-torture as it was anti-anti-torture. If that makes any sense.
