I'm looking for a song that came out in the late 90's/early 00's, its a chick singing to the tune of "I Dream of Genie". She talks about "looking in the glass at her reflection" or something. I wish I had more info but i haven't heard it in like 5 years.

It's Suzanne Vega - Tom's Diner. Apparently the original is an a capaella, but this would be the version you probably heard (sorry about the animu) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQyjEXuvbqA

Ugh, this is going to drive me crazy. I have a song stuck in my head but I can't remember more than a couple lines. It's been played a lot recently on my college's indie rock station. It's about being a wolf and running under/howling at the moon or something. I want to say the band's name also has to do with wolves. I think it's a kind of mellow song.

I'm looking for a song that I heard in H&M this evening. I had heard it before but I don't really know how to identify it. The only lyrics I have to offer are an often occurring chorus of what sounds like, "ay ay ay ay ay." The lead vocalist was most likely female, but that's really a tossup. I hope someone can identify this song because it is killing me. Thanks in advance

There's a song WBCN in Boston has been playing a lot recently.... it sounds a whole hell of a lot like The Clash but I'm not sure if it is. It has a chorus something to the effect of "rockin til the .... here. Something something something out of heeeeeeeere". Then towards the end there's a sample of Baba O'Reilly by The Who. Any ideas?

I'm looking for a slow, mainstream pop song which I believe was popular in the 90's. I have only heard it a select few times since its popularity faded and I've been itching to hear it, it's pretty cool. The majority of the song is a single guy just singing in a soft voice, with a fair amount of overlay tracks so that he forms a lot of awesome harmonies with himself. I believe a lot of these harmonies are when he goes "la da da da da da da da daaaaa" or whatever. The chorus is something like "I don't want to GIVE" or something like that. There may be some ambient instrumentation but the focus is entirely on the guy singing this somber vocal melody. This has been bugging me for a while and I really wish to find what song this is, much thanks to anyone who can point me in the right direction.

The song in this music video is really fast upbeat electronic music. The video is at an air show, and it shows the people attending, but they superimposed childlike drawings over everyones faces. Ive seen it posted here in NMD but i have no idea where to begin, it was a while ago.

Ok, this is going to be vague, but perhaps easy. I just got Cocteau Twins Treasure album, and when I heard the track Pandora, I instantly recognized its beginning. The sample has been used in some other song I heard, but as hard as I try, I can't remember the name, artist, lyrics of anything of it. Youtube video here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rAckMJd8zlA

There's this shoegazey/Breeders-sounding song stuck in my head. It sounds like a female vocalist, quite a bit like Kim Deal actually, but the chorus repeats "Sooner or Later" and some other lyrics I don't remember. It must not be called Sooner or Later (if that's really even what I'm hearing) because a google search yields a great number of songs by that title and I've burned through quite a few with no luck. I may have heard it on Pandora or the local alt-rock (non-clear channel) station, or maybe even a commercial/show/movie. I hope this is enough because the only way I can exorcise this from my head is to throw it on the ol' pod.

I heard this song on a local Comcast SportsNet commercial last night while watching the capitals game. The commercial was basically showing the different D.C. teams and a star player on each, and there was a song playing in the background that I really liked. The only lyrics I was able to slightly pick up sounded something like "I gotta say, it seems that way," and it sounded a lot like Bob Dylan. Google suggests that it is "Orange Juice Blues", but that does not sound like this one very much. Any help would be appreciated!
