Why do Doncaster need a third kit? Their home kit is red and white, their away kit is black - who the gently caress is going to clash with both of these? Robbing bastards.

Next thing you know, Norwich or Plymouth will be having a third kit. :20bux:

Yo, those are actually last seasons kits. Next season's is bloody awful.

You're right about them being robbing cunts, though. The kit the season before was the same except for really minor details(stripes reversed and trim colour) and they want you to pay £40 for it.

The away kit is never used, always the third.

Here's the new kit. You can't really tell in this picture but the sleeves and the main part are actually different shades of red. Vandanel say they're fixing it. I say Vandanel are poo poo, let's get a proper maker.

That kind of stuff explains why some clubs sell their replicas for a tenner as opposed to the 30-40 asked by the high level clubs.

These two shirts hold a special place in my heart.

My friend bought me the yellow one in an adult medium for what must have been like my 8th birthday (??? - I was a tiiiiny kid), found it a year or so ago in my parents' attic and wear it all the time :)

I don't plan on buying a new Spurs shirt until they get a sponsor with a prettier logo than Mansion tbh

Nope, Donny are just as greedy - £29 for a shirt! £15 now though since the new one is due soon.

Was just reading on Carshalton Athletic's site about how they're going to "create an image that is more attractive to young people. Primarily by changing colour, badge and brand of shirt."

I love that badge :( They'd better keep the robin. One day I'm going to enforce every team in Surrey has to have an oak leaf, robin or similar as part of their logo.

So 90 quid for the 3 shirts - is a season ticket for them even that expensive?

Cheapest adult season ticket is £280.

Dunno how that compares with the other Championship teams.

They've been pushing it as being an England inspired kit, to make people more aware that Villa have provided more England internationals than any other team.

That's good value, a season ticket to conference teams will cost you anything from £250 to £300.

Shirt prices are the same, this years Harriers shirt retails at about £40 (it is made by Nike at least :) )

Wigan were doing season tickets for 99 quid last season (and maybe this?).

And if Burnley get promoted, they'll be giving away season tickets to all those that bought one for this season.

So, yeah, it seems a bit pricey for Donny.

Anyway, football kits. With retro sponsors.

Wow, I didn't know that. That's ridiculous.

As someone said, Wigan were (are?) doing season tickets for £99. I remember hearing recently that Fulham have one from around £140 or something like that.

That being said, I remember hearing a few years back that for the price of a Charlton season ticket, you could get one for Barcelona. Of course that's the most expensive for Charlton and cheapest for Barcelona, but still...
