Unfortunately not. The tune is your standard pianos and screaming diva with comedy 'rap' fare, that's about all the help I can give, alas.

I am looking for a song based on a music video. The music video is of him standing on the sidewalk playing guitar. I think it was filmed in NYC or some other large city. People continuously walk up, and each group has a subtitle about how they met, or know each other. Can anyone ID the song for me?

This is part of a song called 'Be Yourself Ft. Creators and Nas' on the Get Mashed album from morcheeba. I'm wondering if the background beat/music is from another song, and if it is; the name of that song. http://mp3.flsh.nl/mp3/player.php?m=Be%20Yourself%20Ft.%20Creators%20and%20Nas.mp3 I would love you forever

Does anybody know who/what this is? At first I thought it was the original sample that rjd2 used for Ghostwriter. But it's not. I found this song which I'm guessing is the original sample: http://www.queermusicheritage.us/GROSSMAN/grossmanLP11.mp3 So is it a remixed version of ghostwriter or what? Also if anybody knows what the songs that I posted earlier in the thread are, let me know. deftcleft posted:

I've heard this song a few times on two different rock radio stations, the lyrics go "johnathan's going to hell, and I dont care at all" or something like that. Johnathan's my first name, so it'd be cool if one a y'all could help me find out what it is

There's a chord progression that sounded familiar: G C A D I think it's Nirvana, might be wrong. I recorded it, please excuse the awful guitar skills.

Heard this song in subway the other day, and I can't get it out of my head. I know it's from the 70's maybe early 80's for sure. Unfortunately all I caught the other day, and all I remember is the chorus at the end, which doesn't have any identifiable words except for bah, dah. The ending of the song has a male almost discoish chorus. I know it's a long shot, but I'm hoping someone might recognize this. The end of the song just has a male chorus and goes like this (probably not even spelling it right): Bahdahdahdah Dah dah dah dah Bahdahdahdah Dah dah dah dah Bahdahdahdah Dah dah dah dah Dah dah dah

Ok, this has been bugging me. I recently heard a song on the radio and what to know who sings it, however I remember too much about it. It is a chill acoustic/reggae type song, and it sounds a bit like Shwayze's Buzzin'(Only good) and Citizen Cope. "Gonna go where the...." is one of the lines i think. The chorus sounds something like, "Lord es from today i be O", though i know that is completely wrong. I know I am not giving you all much, but if anyone knows what i am talking about that would be awesome.

A very long time ago I heard a song on the radio that dealt with what had happened to humanity over the course of ten thousand years in the future (no, the song isn't 10,000 years by the Army of Freshmen). The only line I specifically remember was "now it's been 10,000 years/one hundred billion(?) human tears." Lots of the lines in the song were specific years followed by something that happened in that year. Any ideas? Also nobody's been able to track down the rock organ song I was looking for The only clue I provided was pretty vague though...

I regularly get teeny-tiny snippets stuck in my head. This is one of those times, but the worst thing is, I feel confident I should be able to place it--I simply can't. All I can recall is that it's a sad (or at least somber/angsty) song with "but noooh-bah-dee knewwwww" at the end of a line. I know, I know. I sort of figured it from from Marylin Manson, but a lyric search wasn't fruitful.

Ok, I've got one. About a year ago, I heard this song in a first aid office in Colorado and haven't been able to find it. It was slow, with acoustic guitar and some sort of ambience. The singer had a real gravelly voice, kind of like Tom Waits. Hell, it could have been Tom Waits, but it didn't sound like him to me (I only have Rain Dogs though). It distinctly remember a line that went like, "Bring your poo poo, we're going to the dump." Good luck.
