No pics yet, but it's bee seen around the mad stad and such. Apparently it's the same design as the home one, lime green with a lighter green bib/cape.

You'll notice that Everton weren't wearing that fancy pink kit at the MLS all star game. You think they will end up just using the white instead?

They couldn't wear it because the kit's mostly black, and that would've conflicted with the blue/black the MLS side wore. I wouldn't go getting your hopes up just yet.

I do like the third kit and the use of the old badge. But teams with fit jerseys should make an alternative "fan" version. Even if you are skinny enough to wear those they just don't look or feel right wearing around outside the pitch.

The Rangers strip was only on sale to pre-orders and at Ibrox as Rangers didn't make enough. Full sale is tomorrow. That's not a lot of use when you're travelling to a match tonight! Hoping to find somewhere in London with it tomorrow, but i'm not hopeful.

The thing is, there is a difference between a nice tailored kit, like England has, and what Roma uses. You can't actually hide fat with bagginess. A properly sized tailored shirt can actually have a somewhat slimming effect on a person who is overweight. Obviously this won't really apply if you need a XXXL, but people who are like twenty pounds over should still wear fitted clothes. A baggy shirt only serves to make you look like a balloon. This is why NFL jerseys are possibly the most unflattering thing a guy can wear unless he is 250 lbs. of straight rip. But Roma shirts are Taylor Twellman Tight(tm) and make it look like the third jersey should be made by Ed Hardy.

harperdc
Jul 24, 2007

the problem is that the NFL replicas are also just gigantic, baggy mesh jerseys. The real jerseys are so far different; seeing them on players without pads is even different from the replicas too.

but yeah the problem with the fat fans is that XXXL Kappa jerseys are going to look just as bad as XXXL baggy Adidas or Umbro or whatever shirts. It's just not going to look terribly good regardless.
