It looks like Liverpool and Carlsberg may finally call it a day. http://www.forbes.com/2009/08/05/carlsberg-liverpool-sponsorship-markets-equities-beer.html quote:Carlsberg And Liverpool Might Part Ways According to oh-so-reliable the Daily Mail, Standard Chartered may be the replacement and are supposedly willing to pony up £ 15,000,000 a year. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1204887/Liverpool-set-net-15m-shirt-sponsor-Banking-giants-frame-missing-United.html It's going to look a little weird not seeing Carlsberg on the jersey. I thought their logo mixed well with LFC's kits, as opposed to Standard Chartered's:

Spurs used Standard Chartered as their shirt sponsor for the 2005 Peace Cup. It looked absolutely retarded, and that was a logo with colors that matched up better to our shirts anyway. I can only imagine how poor it'll look on Liverpool's.
