Around the year maybe '98 or '99 I used to follow this blogger by the name of Bence. These days he would be considered a pretty typical blogger, but back then there weren't so many around. Things I remember about him: - He was Canadian - He was mid to late teens - He was overweight and pretty depressed about it, even though he was always eating junk - He was a big fan of the band Sloan Last few updates he was talking about how they were moving to the US and he was sad because he thought he'd have a problem finding friends. I keep thinking that surely this guy ended up being a goon, or else some other goon knows what happened to him. I'm not sure if Bence was his real name. Any ideas?

A few years ago someone posted a sci fi novel written by a guy in his writing class, which I'm pretty sure was called The Intergalactic War. It was really terrible and also hilarious, prompted a bit of fan art etc, but then I think the OP dissapeared without finishing posting the whole thing. I'm pretty sure he sent full copies to people who wanted them, but I didn't have an account at the time so I never got one. If anyone knows the story I'm talking about I'd really like to finish reading that thing. Edit: oh there's a thread for lost SA stuff too, I should probably check over there. I cant find the help someone find an old movie thread, unless someone can point me to it here. I am looking for an old movie, probably a good 20 years old. The only parts i can remember involve a remote control helicopter that had an AI, it was developed for some military project i think, but in the end helped protect a kid. I remember it had some form of "remote power" and it was shut down because the power source was turned off. Thats it.

I'm trying to find that website. It was ran by an old video game store owner in British Columbia. It had stories of costumers. He'd kick em out, scream/swear at them if the costumers were being idiots. I think it eventually became a Willow Video. It had a poo poo lot of stories. I think the site had frames. Really old site. I've been looking for a few days, but can't find it (which is why I'm here) It's not very old, I just saw it a year or two ago at most, it was some web video or series of people in an office, and they had a special episode (maybe it was a christmas or halloween special?) where their office was attacked by zombies. I don't know much else about the shower, other than that zombie episode and that it was set in an office type building.

I am looking for an online comic--not a strip, it would come out in full pages. I think it *might* have linked through Opi8.com but I'm not even close to sure. I read it between 99-02. It was done in sepia tones, and the artwork was very detailed. It was set in an alternate version of New York, and had strong Lovecraftian overtones. It featured a detective who adopted a girl after he finds her at a murder/suicide scene. Her parents were cultists. Later on she turns into a city sized monster-god, and her adoptive father goes on a drug-fuel rampage through the monster's guts with a samurai sword and cuts her out of the monster's heart. I don't remember if it was good or not, but I'd love to read it again to find out.

A few years ago, probably six or seven, I saw a computer-animated short by some Italian guy (I think. Might've been Spanish.) about a guy out fishing on a lake at dusk snaring a zombie, who crawled up the fishing line into the boat. He also did another zombie short that took place in a cabin or house, I believe. It was one of the coolest cg shorts I've seen, and I've been searching for it for a while to no avail. If anybody knows what I'm talking about and could at least point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it. edit: Nevermind, of course I just found it, although it's a pretty lovely, youtubey version. And not quite as good as I remembered. Go figure. The other one I was thinking of takes place in a church, and is still pretty good, if a bit dated. A month or so ago, I saw this amazing fan video to the song of some "generic rock band", or rather one of the more famous "generic rock bands" (sorry I really can't remember). The point of the video was to showcase how the songs lyrics and pacing was based upon some kind of mathematical rule, or similar. It struck me as quite incredible when I watched it but now I have completely forgotten what the video was called/which band and which song it concerned. Back when putting a game on a CD was the equivalent of using a dump truck to drive a kid to school, Galaxy of Games put out a buncha cd's with random games. One of them was a game set in space where you and the AI would fight over a spot and could claim planets by landing on them until space shuttle-like ships of yours colonized it. It used sounds not unlike the ones used by Sean O'Connor. Had Astroids-ish graphics, I just can't remember the name of it for the life of me. I did a search on the GoG Cd's, but I didn't recognize 'em. Anyone remember a game like this? EDIT: Ok, so I found the Cd Case devoid of the cd. Not too long ago, there was a thread on GBS about a Youtube channel ran by this psychiatrist. There was discussion about whether or not he was in character or if he was even a real mental health doctor, but his personality and eccentric charm made it really fun to watch, and what he talked about was pretty informative. This isn't really that old, so I'm hoping it can be found - in the deleted ebay scam thread with that Adam guy (I think that was his name), someone posted a youtube link to a rap remix that was basically a song made up entirely of profanity. It was hilarious and I loved it. It was possibly a remix of Dr. Dre? I know nothing of rap. I cannot remember for the life of me what it was called, but I'd really like to find it and listen to it again! Can someone please link me?

Hi, I'm looking for this old Dracula shockwave game that I think Universal used to have on their website. You get chased by Dracula through a maze and you can grab stakes to kill him or like garlic to ward him off. I think it had something to do with the re-release on DVD of a few Dracula movies.

This is more of an old game than an old internet thing, but what the hell. There was a game I played when I was little that I absolutely can't remember the name of, but I can remember most of the things you could do in it. There was a section where you had to guess what to put on a patient, and the doctor was always saying "put a bandage on it" or something. There was also a cafeteria type game where you had to assemble the correct order for a drive-through or something. And there was a cruise ship, and there was a house that you had to fix. It's extremely vague, but I reaaaally wish I could remember this game. I actually remember another game I want to know the name of, and it was also supposed to be an educational game. I remember you had to get the right groceries from a shopping list at the supermarket, and that you had to get an ice-cream cone order right. Completely vague, I know. As for actual internet things, there used to be this video on albinoblacksheep (yes, I know) that was a completely retarded flash video. It was absolute crap but I can never find it. There was a part in it where there are two guys sitting in a hallway and they're talking, and the guy is talking about he hit a girl with a bean bag. Apparently, I have a terrible memory and I want to remember the worst, most terrible things ever. I think about a year or two ago I ran across this hilarious porno blooper. The setting is on top of some bed and, you guessed it, a guy is having sex with a girl. However, he can't keep it hard or can't orgasm or something, and the camera guy (presumably the director also) starts taunting him. The actor proceeds to go down the hall and into the bathroom or something, all the while listening to this guy just belittle him. As soon as he has had enough, the actor is like "Hey man, you know what?" and throws a knockout punch to the camera guy. Anyone know what i'm talking about?
