That looks like so much fun. Content : The Weston Beach Race was this weekend and was cancelled. The organisers decided to run the main event even though the conditions were pretty bad (Click the link). Quite a lot of riders ended up getting hurt, a few seriously. The reason for cancelling was that the emergency services were overstretched, which doesn't look good for future events . e: The Weston Beach Race is a 3 hour race in which you do as many laps of the course as possible. link - http://www.wbruk.com/ local news link Another Video [working title] fucked around with this message at 09:12 on Oct 12, 2009 |

Handiklap posted:I don't think anything has enough torque to overcome the 280lb forks. It's really not anything out of the ordinary as far as custom bikes go. It has a lot of rake, but that front end is just a springer front end. It's probably just a show bike anyways as it doesn't appear to have any brakes.

Uthor posted:I wonder if the guy on the sportbike with the extended swingarm can pop a wheelie or if he's jealous of the guy on the chopper. I think he just sucks. That launch, for an extended swingarm gixxer 1k, is straight up pathetic. Somewhere there's a video of a guy doing burnouts on a flattracker with no front brake. I can't seem to find it...he just starts it spinning and then just does these really tight circles with it. He's surrounded by an entire crowd too, which makes it more impressive/stupid.
