Ok, twitter does public lists now so I am going to try parsing through the two threads again and adding everyone to the this list: http://twitter.com/digital_idiot/goons It's public so you should be able to get on and start following people. I follow absolutely everyone that posts in the two twitter threads, so maybe this will help you find people to follow?

Right, it's time I got into twitter. It was a bit of a mystery for a long time, but I'm figuring out the proper way to reply and reference other users in my tweets. It is interesting to see the celebrities on twitter. Some of them seem rather boring, when all they seem to be doing is blandly promoting themselves. I wouldn't follow them if they paid me.  But there are some who use it well and even seem to reply back occasionally to the plebians. I noticed someone I was following disappeared from my list. I first thought they deleted their account (many of my friends have been doing this on MySpace). But when I typed in their URL, It pulled up their page just fine. It said I wasn't following them. I don't know how I un-followed them, so I clicked "Follow", and I got this message: "This user has blocked you from following them." I wasn't sure what was up. I don't know why I'd be blocked. The page was still public, and I could view it without logging in. A few hours later, it said something about his page being private, and his page wouldn't load. But today it is visible again, but it is still saying I'm blocked. Has there ever been an issue with the service where someone's account randomly becomes unavailable?

I am in the process of transferring to a new twitter account, but what I usually post are links. Not links to websites or anything like that, but I do a lot of writing and research and tend to post links between relatively desperate topics. I also leak jokes/concepts my group and I are currently working on, geek out about the nuance of Mad Men and 30 Rock, and engage in conversations whenever I can in character.
