Ho ho ho, amazing. Here people were thinking that it was too late for them to announce it for release with the DVDs, but nope! And, yes, let's hope they tear it apart for being a terrible abortion that somehow made less sense than any previous Bay film. I LIKED Transformers 1, but this thing was just a loving travesty. I wasn't expecting fantastic high drama, but this thing was just crap.

Glitter and Crossroads didn't have Minstrelbots and 90 minutes of buildup to a 12 second final fight.

They also had coherent stories, and, dare I say, acting (to some degree).

You must be joking. Say what you want about Transformers 2 but you can't complain that it doesn't have enough action. I have never seen so much giant robot fighting as in that movie.

Oh yeah, you have zombie robots getting blown up left and right.

But the whole movie builds up to Optimus vs. Megatron, and the villain so scary Megatron cowers before him, The Fallen.

And when they show up, what happens? 12 seconds of shakey-cam. Cue Linkin Park.

(and don't forgot the 120' super-mega-constructicon that gets blown away in 5 seconds so we can free up screentime for LOL POT, OH MOM! )

Guilt Free: Torrent.

The choice is yours. I'm gonna wait for Netflix.

I suffered much shame when I had to ask the clerk at Hollywood Video for the Britney Spears' Crossroads and not the Ralph Macchio version.

Also, new short is up:

Edit: The short is pretty good. Sample riff: "I cut my hair with a stapler."

I actually had to make my girlfriend go rent Twilight so that I could mock it. I couldn't bring myself to go to the rental place and bring it to the counter.

That being said, the riffing was pretty damned good for that one.

The thing I wonder about Twilight is did the people in the movie realize they were supposed to act and not just stand around reading lines?

I would like to add that she shoved her hands in her pockets and looked down, then up a lot. Sometimes while biting her lip at the same time. You have no idea wht kind of skill that takes. She puts Katharine Hepburn and Meryl Streep to shame.

Dammit Rifftrax, it's costing me $1 a day to have this piece of crap checked out from the Redbox.

It is now my day off, and I am bored.

I'M HUGE!
My wife and I are holding a get-together for Halloween, and we're thinking about having a Rifftrax movie or two playing in the main room.

Does anyone have an opinion on the best horror/thriller/creepy movies they've riffed so far? We're leaning toward the VOD-available ones, since it would be much simpler to set up on our main television (I don't have an easy way to play a second audio source). Unfortunately, that limits the selection quite a bit.

Forgive me for not searching through all 40 pages of this thread, but is there a favorite method of putting the Rifftrax onto a DVD with the film itself, so that you just pop in the DVD and it plays like an MST3k?
