Mister Kingdom posted:Also, the Star Wars Holiday Special is a must see. In the past, I'd only been able to watch no more than 10 minutes at a time. I've seen (part of) the Holiday Special by itself. It was an hour of really bad community theater (redundant, I know) and I walked away. And yeah, Reign of Fire was a good one, too.

Ok, maybe I'm retarded but I can't for the life of me get this god damned thing to play. My friend used to play them all the time with no issue but when I tried myself it will not work. Any advice for a computer inept person such as myself?

It's not their fault though, that movie is just so awful and boring that you just can't do anything with it. At least Manos Hands of Fate was awful in a goofy way, Monster A-Go-Go is just...boring.

I think they should do a Rifftrax on Blood Hook, mainly because some of those that made MST3K also made Blood Hook.

Aeon Flux had a brilliant commentary on exactly what's wrong with post-Matrix action movies: Mike: You know what makes video games fun? You can play them. Just sitting here watching this, it's pretty boring. Kevin: No kidding. I feel like every girlfriend in America.

Drag Me to Hell was pretty good. Mike and Bill are good together (sorry, Kevin). The movie itself was meh. I guess that the woman actually being dragged to hell was okay considering she lied about not being able to help the Gypsy woman. Sam Raimi has done better.

I recently set up a surround sound system, and finally got a chance to try making a DVD with the riffers coming out of the surround speakers. I have it say it works pretty drat well. I want to go back and make all my previous Rifftrax DVD's the same way but that's probably going to be a monumental task.

Raleigh, NC goon here. Just got back from the North Hills showing, it was loving hilarious. For those of you interested, this might be cheating, but the digital goodies are at https://www.rifftrax.com/toyshop. One is a digital copy of one of the shorts, so even if you can't make it, you can enjoy that!

The commercials were really good, especially the final one. Were they legit, or did The Onion produce them the way Something Awful did the sponsor skits from the last live show? Overall, it was a great show. I guess my biggest quibble was I hoped Weird Al would be there to do more than just one short. Two or three would've been nice.
