This one's a doozy,goons.

I'm looking for a copy, or a link to somewhere or someone who knows where I can find an obscure Italian opera performance about the birth of Jesus Christ. I believe it's entitled Nina nonna nonni jezu, or some variation of that. It's mostly the ringing of bells and opera singing. My Grandparents play an old, choppy recording of it every christmas eve at midnight, and I'd really like to upgrade their copy... any help will be forever appreciated.

Your title was so old it used HTML which isn't even allowed in titles anymore what the hell
I just woke up from a nap to a great song on the radio, but I was half asleep through most of it. Towards the end I realized I had to remember some of the lyrics so I could find the song later. Again, I had just woke up, but I think part of it was "one year ago today I shot the thing inside my head" then a few more words and "and focused all my pain".. or something like that? I also think the main parts went "da da da na da-na-da-na-da" and then repeated.

And, according to google and every other search engine known to man - this song doesnt exist. So this may not be easy to find.

Okay, I remember hearing a song from a long, long time ago. It was kind of countryish or singer/songwriter style. The overall gist is the guy is talking to some mysterious cowboy or something. In the refrain, the cowboy tells him the meaning of life is "fast cars, cheap whiskey and easy women" or something to that effect.

I've been trying to remember/find the song for the past few days, and with what little I remember it's been really hard. Turns out there's a lot of songs about cars, whiskey and women.

Edit: Also, something unrelated. I clearly remember hearing "Baby, It's Cold Outside" on All Songs Considered's holiday special a couple years back. I couldn't remember who performed that version, so I went to look it up on All Songs Considered's website and it's not in any of the holiday specials from the last several years. I'm thinking maybe they've since removed it from their website due to trouble getting the rights or something? Does anyone remember hearing this on their show? Or am I just losing my mind?

"Surprise, muthafucka."
Rap/HipHop song from the late 90's/very early 2000's, know it only from a video that was on MTV in fairly heavy circulation.

I think it may be Wu Tang, I'm not sure, but I do know the video had multiple rappers in it.

The video was dark, during scenes with the rappers rapping there was fire behind them (maybe walls covered in fire), parts of it were in a dark modern city, I think it had some fantastical elements like medieval imagery, and it seemed the theme was apocalypse or doomsday.

The song itself I don't remember any of the lyrics, but the music itself was dark, foreboding, and dreadful, for a rap/hiphop song anyway.

I've been trying to figure this out for ten years, but never thought to try asking on here until now. No, it's not Wu's Triumph. Thanks in advance.

Looking for a song from 1994-96 I think. Its in a R&B/Hip-hop style with a distinctive beat that kinda goes da da da daaaaaa da da da da daaaaaa. Maybe has the words "feel the music" and "romance" in its lyrics.

This appeared on my computer one day. I have no idea where it came from, what it is or what it's doing there. It's been there for a good five years, because I remember wondering what it was in high school and I'm almost done with college now. I don't know if it's part of a longer piece, if it's a piece at all, if it's from something, if it IS something, nothing. "2525sol" is the filename it "came" with, so to speak. That and the piece itself is the only thing I have to go on.

I don't know about that song specifically, but the trumpets remind me of the band Beirut, which gets inspiration from Eastern Europe. Maybe it's a march-band song for one of those countries.

I'm looking to identify a progressive rock song, probably from the late 1970s or early 1980s (because I don't like the style), it could be Rush or something like that, I'm really not into the subgenre, but the first part is that horrible early 1980s sound with heavy weight on some vocals which I don't like. The second part I do like, though, because it changes more or less completely into this heavy and intense, more modern sounding, repetitive non-vocal part, with emphasis on drums and very distorted guitars/bass.

It's probably quite well-known. Thanks for the help.

That's a realllllly vague description but does 21st Century Schizoid Man by King Crimson sound like what you're talking about? The 'second part' where it gets really jazzy starts at around 2:08. If that's not it, does the lead singer sound similar to this guy (in which case it might be a different King Crimson song or ELP or maybe Genesis) or does he have a higher voice (probably Rush or Yes)?

Thanks for the attempt, but that's not it. I know and like King Crimson, minus the 1980s stuff (I really dislike music from that period).

It could be Rush or Yes, I don't really know either of those two bands. The voice is higher pitched, if I recall correctly. Definitely rather dominant [added: and, to me, annoying].

Extra added: The second part is rocking, repetitive, and intense rather than jazzy.

Hey! How lucky for me to stumble upon this thread, as I have been desperately trying to name a Christmas song I've heard any number of times lately, especially when watching hockey on RDS.

I have no other way to describe it than to type the tune as I know it. It goes like,

do Do Do do Do do-do-lo do Do do-do-lo doooo
this repeats but the trailing doooo at the end is a higher note the second time
do Do Do do Do do-do-lo do Do do-do-lo doooo

Usually sounds like its played with a trumpet or something. I know this is terrible, but its really getting to me.

Here's a shot in the dark. I don't expect it to be this at all but perhaps you can discern a few more differences using this as a reference: Puff Daddy - Victory. It features the dark city with flames and explosions everywhere in a sort of apocalyptic fashion. It has multiple rappers and would have seen very heavy rotation in its day due to its ridiculously high budget. It isn't a modern environment though as it's set in the distant future (although it looks relatively modern), and I don't know if the fantastical elements match what you had in mind.

This is actually really close to what I envisioned, but the song isn't, and the fantastical imagery I remember is medieval I think. Like broadswords or something.
