As I recall, there was an original version, and a re-done version that was made as a tribute in higher quality.

There was an old youtube video I found, looked like a student short film, where people in this old apartment building were doing random things, but everything was sort of oddly melded with technology- they would pick up phones and scream modem noises, a guy threw a paper away and it showed a mac trash icon, etc. It was removed, but I was kind of obsessed with it a year or two ago.

I could have sworn I've seen another version of the "don't tread on me" flag, but I've done numerous searches and can only find this one: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gadsden_flag (Gadsden Flag)

The version I remember seeing was a foot stepping on a snake with the snake biting the ankle. Does this exist or did I dream it?

I saw a gif a few months ago...it started out with Superman holding his cousin, Kara, while both were floating in mid-air. And then Supes said "I'd hit it..."

Then, it started cycling through different heroes, like Guy Gardner, Dr Manhattan, Apollo, the Shocker...

Anyone have a working copy or a link to one?

I'm looking for an old MP3 made for some old thread, possibly called "Hamburger Boy". It's an acoustic song that goes somewhat like this:
"Hamburger boy... You better start your running. *guitar dong dong dong dong*
HAMBURGER BASTARD... you better keep on running."
And so on. It was a fantastic(ly improvised?) song, and I crave it.

I'm looking for the story "John Dies At The End," originally hosted on pointlesswasteoftime.com. I'm also looking for "Star Wars Episode IV As It Should Have Been" which was a set of Star Wars Episode IV screencaps with custom subtitles that were loving hilarious. The original URL was http://www.pointlesswasteoftime.com/film/swflash.html. I found a mirror a long time ago after PWOT went down but stupidly failed to save the page, and now I can't find any mirrors anywhere.

Both of these were written by John Cheese.

Edit: JDATE has been published in hardcover format. Star Wars As It Should Have Been can be found here and is recommended reading for every goon.

I'm looking for this music video for Working for the Weekend by Loverboy. It has one guy dancing around, singing, playing guitar, drums, bass, keyboard. It's one man playing all of the instruments, superimposed so there's like 5 of him in one shot.

Hey guys I'm looking for a java/flash simulation about evolution. It had nine (I think) panels, each with a creature that was a body and two legs. The point was that each creature would try to run, and the one that got the farthest was the one that would mutate slightly for the next round. I can't remember what it was called so I can't find it. I've found a ton of evolution simulations but I'd like to see this one again.

Okay, I'm looking for either Ben's Zelda Page or Ben's Legend of Zelda Page (can't remember which, exactly but you get the idea)

It was loving old, to the point where he had Zelda 64 alpha/beta screen shots and there were A Link to the Past sprites all over the place.

I really hope it wasn't a Geocities site, and I really hope someone can find it :(

I used to have an old wallpaper from the game Counterstrike. It was really a Christmas painting that they added a couple of counter terrorists to and it looked like they were about to infiltrate the house.

It was really classy looking and I'd love to see it again!

I'm pretty sure I got this from somewhere like gorrilamask.net, but there was this kid's mixtape he had recorded for his girlfriend. I think he made this long introduction of him talking, professing his undying love in the most soggy, sappy way possible.

The story goes that he gave her the tape and she ditched him the next day, before uploading said sappy poo poo intro to the internet. Whether the story is true or not is irrelevant. I want to hear it again and cringe!

He sang some exerpt from Daniel Beddingfield's 'If you're not the one' at one point if this helps.

If it's the same one I have on my hard drive, it's called "Troy's Mixtape of Love". He made it for their 6 month aniversary. I only snagged a couple of the remixes though. No idea where I'd go about hosting them. Rapidshare?

There's this freeware game that I can't remember the name of. The entire game is, there's a blindfolded prisoner tied to a stake, and you play the executioner. If you shoot him, you lose, and the game ends. If you then restart the game, you find that the guy is still dead, and there's no way to bring him back.

This one's simple. Remember the old "Mr. T vs. Superman" Internet thing? It had Mr. T and Superman fighting in the form of screen caps from the shows and captions super-imposed. One had Mr. T pointing a cannon and saying "Two can play the game of fire power, super-sucka" and in another he was enjoying his gold chains ("Them gold chains is good, fools!").

I'd really like to see it again but the original site has been dead for years and every link I found just points at that dead site.

OK, Going back to 1996-1997ish, I downloaded a demo/trailer for a stoner game called Pothead (at least that's what I'm 99% sure it was named). It seemed to be a 3D exploration game, where you buy pot, smoke it, and do whatever. One of the things I remember from the trailer, was that the drug dealer's apt was called "The Legendary Apartment" lol.

I cannot seem to find any trace of this game anywhere. Plus, searching for pothead and video games doesn't exactly narrow the field.

I would do anything just to see a glimpse of what my life could have been like, if I had just mailed a money order to some anonymous dude, and received my CD-ROM. Surely, I can't be the only dickhead to see this?

Looking for a particular webcomic I haven't seen in ages. It was black and white, drawn in a manga-ish style, and every storyline was centered around some form of depravity. The one storyline in particular I remember was about a necrophiliac who worked at a morgue, and kept ignoring this woman who was attracted to him. So I think she killed herself so he'd have sex with her corpse. I also think there was one about a woman who kept trying to seduce her teenage son.

To clarify, I'm pretty sure this wasn't some fetish thing, just sick humor, but it's been a while.

Speaking of - and I don't know if this counts for this thread because I don't know how old this is - but there's a song that came up once on gbs fm that I'd kill to get my hands on. It was some remix of the "how is babby formed" meme, but that's all I remember of it. :( I WANT to say it was electronic/dance genre, but I can't recall.
