I love how attached Hank gets to non-human things. His truck for example.

And Anne Richards was a Democratic governor, so shouldn't Hank and friends hate her?

She was really really popular though, had really high approval ratings during her tenure iirc.

Hank always struck me as being an old school Goldwater Republican, and he's loyal to Texas first and foremost. LBJ was a Democrat, and he named his dog Lady Bird. Anne Richards was never radically leftist or anything, so it's no surprise that Hank would revere her status as (former) governor.

Yet another episode where I heard the concept and thought "Ugh, this is going to be too Simpsons-esque" and I ended up really enjoying it. Although I have to say the final few seasons are way less appealing to me with their increasingly ridiculous "New-age crap is bad!" strawmen.

As someone pointed out a while back he also named his dog after a democratic president's wife.

Just saw Blood and Sauce on adult swim. loving awesome episode.

Geneologist: Lots of Americans have ancestors who are royalty - African princesses, Gaelic chieftains. Tracing them just takes time, money and a flexible definition of royalty.
Bill: I have all three!

Gilbert: What would you have done with your streetwalker's gold, eh? Bought more of these? Double stuffed chocolate sandwich cookies? J'ACCUSE!

I think the episode is potentially one of the worst. So many things are off because they shoehorned ZZ Top in there. Minh's favorite song is Tush? Come on.

There's another continuity hole with Cotton in the ZZ Top episode to. How could Lane Pratley repo a car Cotton bought when even Hank was just a kid? Seems odd that someone would have 30-40 years worth of car payments.

Well, I was more talking about the episode were it's shown that Cotton took Hank and friends to the Hotel Arlen to get them some hookers for winning state.

He later takes Bobby there, only to walk into a lady Lawyer convention.

Yep, I have never seen that episode.

There were long periods I did not watch KOTH, mostly because I figured it was prempted by football. FOOTBALL! Then I'd catch it again, and remember how awesome it was.

Well I'm glad I was wrong against all odds about Teletoon's schedule. They literally play it 2x as much as Comedy did. I'm not quite sure what they do when they play 2 different episodes in one day but at overlapping times. I'm also interested to see how much of it they have, since comedy was capped at S8 for years for reasons of being cheap (goin strong into the 5th season so far)
