Wandering around the pit area at the Wanganui Cemetery Circuit street races you see the darndest things, like a pre 63 Norton Commando 750 leaning against a lamppost: But what's that behind the carb?  Kiwi ingenuity at it's best, that's what. Got tonnes more pics of awesome old school coolness if people wanna see.

I used a 2 stroke oil bottle as a catch can for awhile...because essentially a catch can is a catch can, whatever comes closest to hand is usually what gets used.

More pics from Wanganui Cemetery Circuit street races '09: From the pre 63 classics, one of the few action shots that came out ok.  Classics on the dummy grid  Gixxer thou powered sidecar after a disagreement with a wall, note the lack of fairing.  Jawa Briggo 500  Matchless g12 800 sidecar, This thing hauled rear end.  Norton Domintor 500, lived up to it's name.  Ducati Paul Smart, not sure whether I love it or hate it.  Velocette MAC 350  When we got back to our bikes we found this awesome Yamaha v4 powered sidecar parked next to us, piloted by a santa claus lookin dude who did a huge burnout as he left  Best boxing day ever.
