This is a very odd request, but a long time ago I used to have this little 3D game where there would be this G-Man looking character and he would start in midair and would slowly fall to the ground unless you clicked on him and you could quickly pull the mouse away "gibbing" him and you could do it until nothing was left.

There was an old flash video about two guys calling eachother gay. That's really all it was: they'd ride in on their skateboards and call everything gay. Over and over. At the end of the first one, they called some huge guy with suspenders and a nipplering gay, and it ended. In the second, one was dressed as a wizard (a GAY wizard) and summoned an army of the undead. Who were also gay. I think the voices were slightly british. I've been trying to find this poo poo for ages.

I've been trying to refind the website of this one artist. He did some really weird and creepy paintings. Most of them were rather surreal and often of monsters. He had his self bio on his page and wrote about how he did most of these paintings while on a variety of drugs. One of the more memorable parts was how many of his paintings were lost when his apartment/house went up in flames after some oils/varnishes caught fire. I know it's somewhat vague, but I've been trying to find his website for years.

Years ago, i think on Fark, someone had posted a picture of either Patton or whoever the president was when the concentration camps were discovered.

It was black and white (obviously) and it had a group of soldiers posing on what looked like a half track or a tank, along with patton or the president, It could have been the British prime minister.
Anyway,

I'm not sure if it had a caption on the picture itself, or if someone had said it, but it said something along the lines of...
"Take Photographs! Take drawings! Make recordings! Because someday, someone will say that this didn't happen, that these camps never existed"

Many moons ago there was an front page article where I believe Lowtax introduced the internet short hand CAWG for "cackle aloud with gusto". There were a few other acronyms that I liked in that as well but I can't remember them and have never been able to find that front page story again. Anyone have any idea?

Also there was a very nice rosetta stone of ways to make ascii boobs that lowtax posted during some kind of server issues. Never seen it again.

Google "aloud with gusto", third hit. Here you go.

Oh, here's one I'd like to find.

Several years back, there was a series of stories about fanfic. The idea was that the protagonists would go into fanfics and murder the horrible stupid Mary Sue characters (to the enthusiastic gratitude of the established characters). It was some sort of agency.

Any ideas?

There was a really really lovely flash video of a cowboy shootout. One cowboy was trying to rescue a senorita from an outlaw. I don't remember what exactly happens or what it was called but the bad cowboy says "Get your OWWWNN whore." and wiggles his head around in a ridiculous way.
My friend and I watched it about 10 years ago on a flash site (some other videos on that site were a DBZ subbed with "Wassuuup!" quotes and that stick-man ninja who kicks all kinds of rear end in a 2D level.) I've been wanting to re-watch it because we used to say "Get your OWWWNN" and do the head gesture all the time.

I've been trying to find this for years now, with absolutely not luck...

It was created by several different artists. The rule was that you needed to have a red line coming in from the foreground and heading out into the background.

What I'm looking for is the compilation of all of these paintings. They were all "stitched" together so that you could scroll "into" each painting following the red line and find yourself in the next painting... on and on until you found yourself back in the first painting.

I'm pretty sure I found it here originally. If anyone finds it you'll be my bff forever.

No :( Thanks though, that's as close as google ever gets me.

The idea was similar, except these weren't just MSpaint scrawls, but real paintings. And it was "3d" in that the red line came from the foreground and went into the background, into the center of the painting. So it's like you were zooming in on the center of the painting, and all of a sudden you were looking at a completely different painting.

I'm also about 80% sure that you could control the rate of the scrawling, and go either back or forth through the paintings.

Anyone know of an old screensaver about a guy stuck on a desert island? He does things to kill the time like building sandcastles and destroying them. He also throws bottles with messages in them. Occasionally he escapes.

I remember it was back in the Windows 95/98 days, I think.

Does anyone remember that one site with target shooting flash games? It was code red or something. It was a simple game. The first version had targets that expanded and contracted and the second version had several different modes with targets on a grid, targets in a simulated 3d range, and then a mode with targets that traveled up and down.

I'm almost certain that the site had red in the name. Some of the old school fps players might remember this one because it was a decent way to get some good mouse skills. This was probably around the turn of the century or before.

A few years ago, a SA goon by the name of Rachel Moss went to the feminist convention WisCon and chronicled the various fat, stupid, and ugly people she met there. All the feminists on the internet freaked out and started making all these threats against Ms. Moss and labeling her this horrible bigoted bitch. It was one of the most hilarious episodes in SA history. Unfortunately I can't find the original forum post in which she mocks all the conference attendees, just the subsequent fallout.

One of the most hilarious of which is from the Angry Black Woman (http://theangryblackwoman.wordpress.com/2008/05/28/what-rachel-moss-did/) who had this to say about the event:

"How dare she? How dare she add to all the stuff people who come to WisCon already have to deal with in their lives by bringing bullshit like this to their space? How dare she do it in such a way that it brings us to the attention of a community of known and proven assholes who spend a huge amount of time online being cruel and stupid? How dare she attempt to disown her culpability in that? How dare she?"

So does anyone happen to have the original post?

Not sure about the flash game, but if I'm reading this right, that's a really popular older arcade/multiplatform game called Pang / Super Pang. You shoot a grappling-hook like gun straight up, popping balloons until they get small enough that they're destroyed by the gun.
