Your mother is so stupid, she has the strength of an adult but the innocent clumsiness of a child. She went to a petting zoo and it ended poorly. There was a visiting kindergarten class there, and your mother gave them their first real glimpse of death. The teachers tried to distract them with some activity or another, but they will never forget what they saw. They will never forget what they heard. The bleats of pain, the snap of small bones, those last few wet gasps of breath. The zoo gave the school a refund for the admission fees, and they couldn't afford to replace the lamb as soon as they'd have liked to.

Wow, a triple. I haven't seen one of those in a while. I kind of hope something happens to the bus or something and Philippe stays in Achewood. I don't want the boy to remain motherless, but I can't imagine Ray or Beef or Cornelius or especially Teodor's lives without the little guy around. The world will be a little sadder.
