LeftyChris = awesome. Anyway, new season, new bike: '99 Intruder VL1500LC; "LC" stands for "Legendary Cruiser". Or "Lounge Chair". Those bags are crap; too small to carry anything of consequence, and the buckles are real (no hidden straps with quick-release buckles). Also LOL metric cruiser anti-ergonomic keyswitch. They sound exactly like they look. I'm not impressed with all the racket. I may hit up CL to see if anyone wants to trade for a set of stockers. My PAIR valve seems to have gone missing.

They inject air into the exhaust ports under high loads, diluting the exhaust gas mixture so it passes a sniffer test. Doesn't do jack poo poo to engine tuning/emissions. E: They allow air to be drawn into the exhaust. They don't force air in; the "P" in PAIR stands for "Passive". Dagen H fucked around with this message at 03:22 on Apr 1, 2010 |

guy i know recently replaced an air pump on his boxster that does exactly that. pumps outside air into the exhaust system. sounds a little absurd to me.
