How do I know if I have the censored or uncensored version of the 2-disc Fame Monster CD without opening it? It doesn't say "Edited" on the label, but it doesn't have a warning on it, either. I've been trying to figure it out by Googling, but I can't find a clear answer.

Well, there are uncensored versions of Monster, Bad Romance and Dance in The Dark on YouTube. Apparently the Australian iTunes sells/sold them uncensored.

Yeah, the Autotune is terrible. I wonder why it sounds like that? Surely that couldn't have been the final version. I wonder if Britney kicks herself now that the song is a hit. The GaGa version flows much better, too. The repetition of the "Kinda Busy" part kills the groove. The wurly synth in the post-chorus "Stop telephoning me" is really bad.

As soon as I got home from Target I plugged in the new 37" Vizio I bought and christened it by watching the AI Alejandro performance in HD. Lovely, I loved her lace outfit, especially how the mic was hidden into the lace over her face. And the fountain (pouring blood-colored water?) behind her looked like a Weeping Angel from Doctor Who. If I can figure out my iTunes account I'm gonna buy it on there.

Has anyone seen Christina Aguilera's new video for her comeback single, "Not Myself Tonight"? I can't tell if it's cute or sad how badly she wants to be Lady Gaga. It's a sexy video full of raunchy, kinky BDSM imagery (also inspired by Madonna's "Human Nature" video), but Christina plays it all straight-faced and serious despite looking like a drag queen in parts of it, and the video comes across as generic and forced as a result. I know Gaga could have filmed a similar video with more of a playful nudge and a wink about the over-the-top sexuality of it all. Also, it's not a very good song by Aguilera's standards.

The problem with Christina is she's seen Lady Gaga come onto the stage, sees her provocative outfits, etc, and decides that to one up it she's going to basically do softcore porn. The problem with that is that while Lady Gaga does wear some pretty promiscuous outfits in her videos, they're not the POINT of the videos. Gaga isn't doing it to see how close she can come to getting naked and dancing on screen, Gaga is telling a story while wearing revealing clothing that generally have quite a bit to do with the story line. Christina sees the slutty clothes and thinks THAT'S what she has to one-up, which shows she just doesn't get it.

Wow they kinda butchered it in the short version... Bad Romance sounded "off" but in the full performance you realize it's because she's just playing a different chord progression. They also cut out the part where the background dancer stabs her in the heart. Also has anyone ever tried going from standing to lying flat on your back, back to standing in 30 seconds while singing the whole time? I haven't either but I'm guessing it's really loving hard. Gaga is the best.
