No, its not nearly large enough, but I can't even find something that small for a reasonable price.

Try industrial parks, or places that rent out workshops/work space, and look towards the edge of town. Like I said before, we got a big double-garage sized place for $250/mo within 15 minutes of downtown Tampa (via the interstate that ran near it, heh). Not climate controlled IIRC but you can bring fans if there's electrical hookups.

Has the old project thread gone?

Im starting what I think will be my first big project next week and was thinking would anyone be interested in a thread about how its progressing?

My and my friends all grew up on a really rough council estate in liverpool, and its based around the friends that never really moved on and the monotony of there lives, which just revolves around drink and drugs.

It's a really big issue in the UK right now, the young, unemployed estate youth that spend all there welfare on vodka and cocaine, its something I really care about so I think it would be a great first photographic project.

Sounds interesting, go ahead and make a thread and I will enjoy it and I am sure others will.

Having a background there should allow you to capture images that other photographers won't be able to without the aid of a stab vest.

You know what's intimidating? Being an amateur and shooting two professional photographers. As with many places, I take pictures at work because I have the fanciest camera and have some idea of what I'm doing, so the art gallery committee asked me to do a 360 panorama shot of our art gallery. Turned out the guys whose work was being shown were there today so the art gallery people asked me to get some promo shots of them with their art. At least it was really informal and I didn't feel too pressured, but I just got my B400 yesterday and was getting used to it and was a bit nervous since I had to keep making adjustments and was taking a while. One of the guys gave me a few pointers for lighting and they both ended up liking the shots I got of them, so it was all good.

I love it when (sometimes) everything comes together - including the 'right place at the right time' aspect of it. You can invest time and money into what you do on an ongoing basis, but there's always some stuff you can't buy. Really, that's excellent.

Just taking the piss out mate. Obviously I don't know them, how intelligent they are, or how much Burberry they wear.

Just like the U.S. version, anyone that can rise above the culture of the Estates and doesn't get trapped there is A-ok in my book.

I haven't heard of Fadil before.. from the sound of him I assume he is a pretty well known veteran? Do lots of famous pros all touch the models? That's always been a big no-no for me so yeah, I'm a little shocked to see him doing that. He fluffed that one girls hair and it didn't change jack poo poo. Why couldn't she fluff it?

Creepy.

I've never heard of him either, and I've always made a habit of not touching the models. I'm pretty sure the industry standard is not touching the models. Especially not stroking their legs.

Eh, I used to be 100% against touching, but like most things it's flexible. You tell them what's wrong and show how it can be fixed. If they can't do it on their own after you tell them, you get a stylist to do it if one is available. If not you ask if you can do it yourself, and don't make a big deal about it. I've never been told "no", I can't pick a fuzzy of someone's dress. Or whatever. Don't ASSUME you can just touch them and you'll be fine.

After you've worked with someone a few times even that goes out the window. I've had model friends ask me to help them get out of undergarments. It's all a matter of your actions being appropriate for the relationship you have with the model.

Thanks for the response,

I hope this is a better explanation

You can either work at the Photography Studio or you can work at your home
The compensation is $50 per project as needed (This is not an hourly Position) After reviewing your work you will paid $50

I would have you go through the photos of the Weddings that I shoot, you would go through the photos of the Ceremony, and the Reception will be anywhere from 200-400 photos

I need to have them cropped, color correction, Contrast, red eye removal, maybe add some light to the photos
I don't want you to spend a lot of time to each photo maybe a minute or 2 on each I want you to get through them quickly as possible
I want the photos to look their best
and blemish correction for those that have skin blemishes......

You would be required to sign a wavier that you don't own the photos, you are allowed to work on them only,
can use with permission from me for a price if you ever wanna use a few.......

Let me know if this interests you

P.S. I also have a Photography and Modeling group that you might be interested in join if you wanna get more experience in Photography
