Does anyone have a list of all the shifter unique weapons and where you get them?

I discovered something very cool in Shifter: the Electrostatic Discharge aug is a lot more useful than it seems. Hitting bots in melee isn't really a brilliant idea most of the time, but the aug really starts to shine when you realize you can hit cameras and tripwire projectors to temporarily gently caress them up. This makes the stealthy approach vastly easier in some parts - you can just crouch down and give the low projectors a little tap to short them out, then creep silently through the now-flickering beams without triggering the alarm.

The first list is a bit incomplete, so make sure you find the second: it should have every weapon, though there may be two instances of some that I didn't account for.

(I though I read earlier they were specifically clones of Page). It isn't really a stretch, It doesn't really go far enough frankly. Helios is a created Logos. JC is created Man. The merger is a created Jesus, the Logos/Man union. JC is not metaphorically Jesus. JC is Jesus. Look at the conversation with the Morpheus AI in Everetts place. The "Question" , "Answer" structure, the traditional relationship between Philosophy (Question) and Theology (Answer). "You are the offspring of knowledge and imagination", that's "creative reason", (sometimes called, The Logos). The question of JC, "You are another type of question with another type of answer", is implied to have a theology answer. I think from that point it can be interpreted in a couple of ways. You can have the a real prime mover Logos, creative reason, God having set in motion (the idea of Creator Spiritus) the created Logos "Helios" , created "man" JC union, the trinity answer. Or you could have mankind finally having it's own "creative reason", with JC as the Übermensch. Created Man/Logos as the new source of values, created God when there was no God before. arioch posted:At least it would have predated The DaVinci Code It's far more well thought out than the DaVinci Code.

Paul was naturally born, although his parents' relationship (possibly also his grandparents' and even his great-grandparents') was manipulated by secret societies to produce someone genetically predisposed to augmentation. The genetic records to accomplish this were gathered during the application of the smallpox vaccine. The Deus Ex Bible is awesome.

Thanks to reading this thread and wanting to give Biomod a try I ended up finally sorting out my PayPal so I could buy this off Steam to reinstall it. I have a physical copy, but it would've been another couple of weeks before I could get my hands on it and the appeal of a digital copy was far too strong. Now I've managed to run into the problem every time I play this game, or any RPG for that matter; restarting every couple of hours to try a new build. I started wanting to do a Solid Snake no-encounter rule but that changed quickly into a psychotic Rambo stealth murderer approach. Then I decided that I wanted to do another pistol specialist. Now I'm back to ghosting it and I WILL stick with it, god drat it.

Is there a mod for deus ex that gives energy regeneration? I get that I'm meant to use my augs conservatively, and having a limited energy supply enforces that. I'd just like a nice 10 energy/min regen so I don't have to worry about hording energy cells for later levels and backtracking to repair bots and all that silly stuff that could easily be replaced with slow energy regeneration and no scrounging. Also I picked run silent because I wanted to be stealthy and I think that was a mistake.

You can crouch to make your footsteps silent and turn on the fast movement aug to get yourself moving at a normal speed. You're not screwed or anything, though. Its still useful.

Yuo move 50% slower run-crouching even with lvl4 speed running then you do with run silent. Run Silent is the "pro" stealth way to play, while speed-running with dragon tooth is probably the most fun.

Sanctum posted:Is there a mod for deus ex that gives energy regeneration? If you are ever running short on biocells past the first two or so levels, you are doing something drastically wrong. The game is incredibly generous with resources but especially with bioenergy. Also you never have to hoard anything, there's always way more resources in any given level than you'll need. Run Silent isn't bad at all, it's just that the speed aug is more useful in the core game because of the aforementioned exploit.

To the person who was trying to kill JC in Deus Ex 2 while he is in the shield by using spiderbombs to move him around: You can Bot Dominate your own spiderbombs and control them.
