Last play through I knocked Louis Pan out and tried to throw him into the blades of Jock's helicopter when he lands in Tong's base. Could not get it to work, however I think the body just falls through them, rather than hitting the super sized hitbox that gets JC if you try to jump over the blades yourself. Kid had it coming.

The greatest thing was when I shot some jerk - I think it was a Red Arrow member who was being rude to me - and the cops immediately went batshit thanks to the ballistic detectors. Louis Pan happened to run gormlessly in front of a police officer who was firing his assault rifle at me from a crouching position. I got the police to gun down Louis Pan, and it was totally worth getting both my arms shot off.

As soon as he blabbed about the spy thing I knocked him out with the prod and left him outside VersaLifes front door with a 'Volunteer Test Subject' note. Gordon Quick was pretty pissed about him my ability to care was augmented.

Just went back through the Versalife front door the second time instead of going through the pipes to get at the UC. There wasn't that much there to get through, just some MJ12 Commandos and a giant spider-bot in the lobby with the globe/hand thing. I wasted them all.

For anyone who chooses the Illuminati ending, do you ever feel bad when/if you notice that Everett/Dowd/DeBeers are actually in cahoots with Page the whole time, they just want to usurp him directly? The last actual computer terminal you pass in Level 3 of Area 51 has some conveniently incriminating emails between DeBeers and Page. Funny that. This is overspoilered as I don't know if there are people reading this on their first playthrough... if I should remove the tags, I don't mind doing so.

I've been screwing around with DX (for Steam) + Biomod + the DirectX 10 renderer on Windows 7, and I can't get the resolution to work right. Any resolution below 1680x1050 seems to run ok, but when I bump it up to my screen's size of 1680, it renders everything in 640x480, I think. I've edited the .ini, used the dxfix util, nothing. Help?

So I finally beat this game without killing anyone unnecessarily (after telling myself I was going to do this for 4 years now). Well, that's a lie, there was one trooper I killed. Although that was because I was going down a ladder and accidentally fell about 10 feet from the ground. Of course I landed directly on top of him, and that managed to kill him, haha. I'm debating if I want to go through Deus Ex: Invisible War again now, or play through Deus Ex again and just blow the everliving gently caress out of everything.

I'm doing a stealth run and I was curious as to whether it's worth getting both of the subdermal stealth augmentations. They're pretty prohibitive in energy cost but I can imagine having both of them would let you ghost pretty well through tight spots.
