1) A song, perhaps more recent, possibly even within the last few years, but possibly also from a similar time peiod (early 90s), a song that sounds similar to "Something To Talk About" by Bonnie Raitt. Same key (maybe a half-step off), similar-sounding female singer, the bit I have in my head sounds like it was taken straight out of the song. Good luck with this one. 2) Speaking of Adult Swim bumps, there was this one on a few years ago and the only reference to it I can find is the first post on this page: http://www.toonzone.net/forums/showthread.php?t=76582&page=20 For Sealab 2021, with "A dancing bear kills Lenin". Anyone know how I can find out what the music was for that one??? It was weird and European folk-sounding and I dig that stuff.

I listened to Something to Talk About for a quick second, and kinda heard a bit of Shania Twain's "That Don't Impress Me Much" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mqFLXayD6e8 I figured it was worth a shot.

The information I am going to give isn't the best to work with but I MUST find this song. The song was exremely dark. I don't mean dark as in emo or gothy since it was an mostly electronic song but it was jut so haunting. It was beautful on the ears but had a rising sense of anxiety to it. The vocals were female (I think?) but there was what seemed to be disturbing news reports being read outloud that interlaced with the audio. As far as sound it didn't sound like a upbeat techno song. The closest thing I can compare it to is Crystal Castle's "Tell Me What To Swallow" but thats nowhere near discribing the ethereal sound of this song. Here is a sample of what the song is similar to but just times a million. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Jy9mumZu6Y I don't expect to get an answer since my info is so vague but any suggestions as to what song I'm remembering would just be amazing.

Okay, the thing is I know exactly the song and artist, but this version has been impossible for me to find. It's Lauryn Hill's version of "Killing Me Softly", and that's the odd thing; every version online and on itunes is of The Fugees feat. Lauryn Hill, none with her singing the song without them rapping in the background. I know this version exists because my local radio station plays her solo version from time to time and I know they didn't just cut the rapping parts because if you've heard the song, you know that would be impossible. Those guys can be heard in almost every part of the song. So anyone know where I could buy this version? A. Beaverhausen fucked around with this message at 03:12 on May 24, 2010 |

I don't remember any lyrics other than what the music video looked like. I saw this playing on the jumbotron at universal city walk in LA. It was a music video of a guy singing in a high note, wearing a white suit (different suits), he kinda resembled perry ferell. The song was kind of poppy and it was really flashy, probably filmed entirely on a green screen. if anyone knows this, that would be helpful

I hope you can help me. The song I'm killing myself trying to remember is sung by a girl, I think she's British and she's got brown hair. The video clip is of her and some men playing basketball in blue (I think) jerseys. I think the song is called B something, like B-Ball or B-Bounce. Maybe that's just part of the song. I can't remember... It's a bit hip hoppy. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

I need your help. I haven't heard this song in like 12 years. The video for it has a garbage-monster thing chasing a bunch of kids(like a parody of sesame street) it sort of has a hip-hop style thing going on. The chorus is like "whoop whoop, ah here we go now(I think. It's been a really long time.) I know it sounds retarted but it's all I can remember. Song by the ex lead singer of a moderately big sort of alternative UK 80s band. The song starts off with what I assume is a UK marine weather report (7 foot waves in the Firth of Forth and that sort of thing) before the music comes in.

This request is a little odd since I know the complete lyrics to the song but not the name of the song itself The song is all on a guitar and the singer sounds slightly effeminate with a whispy voice kind of like Elliot Smith. Lyrics as I heard them. "Not knife wielding but I murder just the same why are you wishing it all away? Holding hands with last second regrets just wanted a name that you don't forget. Keep a list of those who know your just a sheep disguised as a goat. getting dusty and dark and sexy and drunk ghostly all the pictures and mostly"

OK, so my brother and I were trying to figure out a song that he heard on the local alternative/modern rock station. We think it was from the 90s, but aren't entirely certain, and the only lyric he remembers is "So far away/I'll take you there", or something close to that. We know it's not the Goo Goo Dolls song So Far Away, but aside from that, we're at a loss.

On a student-run radio station I heard a fast rock song with a swing rhythm, possibly had some acoustic guitar, and one line from it was "I see my chance/She waves across the bar for me to dance". Googled the lyric, found nothing.

No clue if you will be able to find this. It is basically just another poppy club song, female vocals. The chorus is something like "I wanna see you againnnn" or "I'll never see you againnn" or something like that. Typical pause, and then the chorus comes in. I'd appreciate it because I hate having a tune stuck in my head when I don't know the song!
