Does anybody have a copy of the actual quote?

Life, uh...finds a way
Ok this is so bizzare and hard to explain/ search for. A while back, possibly on these forums, someone posted this weird video these kids made. One kid talks to the camera and says something about his friend always setting traps for him and would you keep and eye out for traps and the camera nods yes. (He says traps like 'twaps'.) The kid leaves and his friend comes and puts a chair upside down on the couch and sneaks off and when he comes back he's like 'did he set any twaps for me?' and she camera shakes 'no'. The kid goes back and sits on the upside down chair and goes 'ahhhh' anyways I think this keeps happening and eventually they're just sorta dancing a jig and yelling. It's all very deliverance in a weird way. No I did not dream this.

Cry 'Mayhem!' and let slip the dogs of Wardlow.
There was some music video I remember watching a few years ago and it was filmed with the actors doing stuff in reverse, and then the film was reversed.

It starts with a guy getting out of bed and hitting an alarm, has guys running through a field with multi colored streamers, and they go into a tent at some point.

And no, it's not Coldplay.

God damn these electric sex pants

I know it's been mentioned in this thread before, but Googling this thread tells me that it hasn't been found yet. If it has, I'll shut my damned mouth.

Pointlesswasteoftime.com (before it was bought by Cracked) had these parodies of Star Wars and Empire Strikes Back that were basically Flash slideshows with subtitles to replace the dialogue. Princess Leia was a huge racist, and Darth Vader kept calling people bitches, I think.

It showed up at juvenilecomedy.com for a while, but that site was taken down too. I know that pointlesswasteoftime.com was bought by Cracked, but not sure about the second site.

Watching (I guess "reading" is more accurate) these things was just about the hardest I've ever laughed. I NEED to see them again, or if possible, to get a copy of all the photos in the slideshow. The Flash part itself is just a shell, one would have to download all the photos separately to be able to make it work.

Please, oh internet gods, please let me be with my one true love once more.

Not as strong as you'd expect.
This may be a tricky one.

I distinctly remember a (fake?) script for a movie-Fist of God. Martial arts meets the Bible. It's not something you'd forget given the script also has songs-Ninja Jesus, Ninja Jesus, how you be so bad?

I must see this script again, but searches fail me, because there's songs and pages with similar names to what I can remember. It USED to exist, I know it did, but it stopped appearing after a time.

Has it never occured
to you that this club
is overpopulated?
This will probably be hard but I have faith in the internet!

I am looking for a fan-made site for the game Silver that was ridiculously in-depth and had plucked the game apart in terms of secrets, tricks and had basically opened a completely new depth to the gameplay by inventing "no healing" runs through the game (meaning you were not allowed to regain HP in any way except auto-regaining it when killing bosses) and had a very extensive walkthrough for playing the game this way.

The site also had very in-depth information regarding bugs and tricks using the game's combat system, as well as other cool stuff. I don't remember the name of the guy running the site (obviously or I wouldn't be asking) but he had some pictures of himself on the site and his rad motorcycle, he was blonde and pretty gothic looking for what it's worth if it rings a bell to someone.

I'd love if someone could help me find this site, I've tried googling but haven't made any progress. I liked the site because it was funny to see how someone was so dedicated to picking apart a game that most people wouldn't even think about trying to pick apart, so to say. Thanks in advance!

*fake edit* It is of course possible that the site no longer exists, but I remain hopeful.

Looking for a really depressing blog or website I read about 6-8 years ago telling the story of a woman whose mother basically imprisoned her in her room when she was younger. She had to use the bathroom in a bucket, and was given goldfish crackers to eat. she distinctly mentioned that she hates goldfish crackers even now.

She managed to get a boyfriend somehow, and he would sneak into her window. He reported her mom to the cops, and when they came to investigate the claim her mom made her throw on a nice dress and come downstairs to the door to make the cops think she was lying

It made me really sad, but the story has an aftermath as the woman now works from home in real estate (she talks about this fairly often later on) and I believe she has a husband. She has a brother, and was on fair terms with him and goes to lunches with him. she isn't terrifically happy even now, but she seemed to be doing ok.

I've tried google, but "goldfish crackers real estate bathroom in a bucket" and variations of that return lots of DIY home repair and goldfish recipe websites for some reason.

Speaking of Cracked and Pointless Waste of Time a couple posts up, does anybody recall the article on PWoT about how Halo and violent video games are murder porn, where we can indulge in the sorts of tea-bagging fantasies that we'd never do in real life? I can't find any sort of archive of PWoT at all, and only a few of the articles got reposted on Cracked, none of which are the murder porn one. Wayback Machine has nothing.

This isn't really internet related but I read about the story here, it became like a 100 page thread, and I can't seem to find an update. I am referring to the news story over a year ago about some psychopath of a 20 year old who decapitated cats of neighbors of his (I think he killed like 26 of them). Just wondering whatever happened to this interesting young man in terms of prison sentence.

There was a thread going on a while back about spooky ghost stories. Someone linked a great site made up of stories from goons, called ghostgoons.com. The site went down something like a week after I bookmarked it and I wasn't able to read through them. There was an awesomely scary story I promised to forward a friend and I wish I could find it somewhere, but not even the wayback machine has it archived. I don't remember the title.
If anyone remembers, the author wrote about when their family moved to Italy when he was young and his room had a strange door that led to the roof, and there were these loud metal shutters covering the glass door. There were freaky sounds at night and the shutters creeped him out, and one night the shutters were completely open when they had no reason to be. He saw something (like an old woman at the door?) and screamed his face off. It was a terrifying story. Does anyone know if its hosted anywhere else, or have a link to that exact story on here? I'd buy archives access in a heartbeat if someone could tell me where it is.

Crosspost from the other finding stuff thread, maybe someone here knows:

1. I'm looking for this super-libertarian novel that's supposed to be one of the worst books ever. It never got a real publication but I've seen it on amazon somewhere. I think it had "Confessions" somewhere in the title and the first chapter was a dude blowing up a bunch of helicopters cause they were on his property. There was a thread on here somewhere (maybe LF) where people read it and I'm pretty sure it got goldmined. It's not that secret agent kid book in the regular LF goldmine.

2. There was this Kevin Federline song (it's not on his CD) where it's just him rapping incoherently for like two minutes and then he just starts yelling at tabloid magazines. The two parts I remember best were when he tells people to "grab their socks" if they don't like him and at the very end when he yells "gently caress THE MEDIA". gently caress the media and grab your socks were really funny to my brother and I a few years ago but it's disappeared. Anyone know where I can find it?

People were speculating that it might be an ARG. I remember reading some blogs, called "Agent ###'s blog" or something, and I seem to recall that it was based mainly in Australia? I also have a memory of someone saying it was a project by some art students in Brisbane(Melbourne? Sydney?). The name of the website was Neurohack, or Neuromancer. Neuro-something. Googling for "birdfucker" turns up the song. It turns up for the band "Grapes and Sunshine" as well as "Nuclear Bubble Wrap". I remember the artist posting it saying that they did it under an assumed band name so that it wouldn't be associated with the rest of their (mostly clean?) work.

Does anyone remember this browser "game" from a couple years back?

Each page was a new level in the game you had to look for clues on each page to progress to the next level via URL. For instance, I vaguely remember one level where your address bar had the word 'false' in it. If you changed the word to 'true' and hit enter, you had the right URL and that would lead you to the next page.

They each got progressively harder. I remember one level had you searching the entire code of the page for a hidden line that had the password to move on.

If anyone can remember/find that it would be sickkkk.
