welp, found the most worthwhile thing to ever be taken off wikipedia Talk:Shirt#List of people who wore shirts An anonymous editor is repeatedly reinserting a "List of people who wore shirts" into the article. Since such a list encompasses virtually every modern figure and most historical ones, it is unencyclopedic, unmanageable, and inappropriate—it has no place in this article. I encourage other editors of this article to keep an eye on the situation. TenOfAllTrades(talk) 14:14, 2 September 2005 (UTC) Why someone would want to vandalise an article about shirts is beyond me. Hall Monitor 22:14, 2 September 2005 (UTC) I guess he's just full of shirt! Ba-dum-bum-ching. (I'll be here all week—try the veal!) TenOfAllTrades(talk) 22:56, 2 September 2005 (UTC)

The Unix Billennium is sometimes described as "109 seconds after the Unix epoch". This is not quite correct, because Unix time is not a purely linear count of seconds: "109 non-leap seconds after the Unix epoch" would be a more accurate description. The name is a portmanteau of "billion" and "millennium", recalling the year 2000 bug. The name is not very logical as billennium should rather mean a billion years. "Gigasecond" would be a more apt term. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unix_billennium

"Billesecum" has no google hits except for this article. Does it have some sort of plausible derivation, or did an editor just try desperately to wedge something meaning "second" into the already ugly word "billennium"? RSpeer 03:57, Mar 25, 2005 (UTC)
