After reading many threads in WH2K, I've come to find out Ultimate Warrior is a conservative nutjob that despises gays. I remember about 10 years ago some of my friends telling me Warrior was gay and he had gotten blackballed from wrestling for coming out of the closet on national TV. Has anyone else ever heard these rumors? How do you think they came to be when Warrior seems to be at the complete opposite spectrum?

Oh I know, I just thought that English was generally spoken by the black population more so than the white one, just because one of the issues with apartheid was that the white government refused to teach English in public schools. Like I said though, I am far from an expert on South Africa, Correct me if I'm wrong. Edit, but anyway, from his website: quote:048 What languages do you speak? I was thinking about how Matt & Jeff Hardy are both on the main rosters of the two promotions and was wondering about real life siblings in different promotions at the same time. Bret was in WCW while Owen was in the WWF in 1998. Brian Armstrong was the Road Dogg in the WWF while his brother Brad was Buzzkill in WCW in 2000. Scott Steiner was in WWE while Rick was in TNA in 2002-3. Cody Rhodes was in WWE while his half-brother Dustin was Black Reign in TNA in 2007. Any others?

Looking at the WH2K Fvaorite Finisher thread, I have to know: What the gently caress is up with Marcus Cor Von's Pounce? It just looks like a crappy shoulder tackle, but everyone here seems to love the poo poo out of it. What am I missing here?

The only tackle style move that looks worse than Edge's spear. Dunno why anyone likes it. Well those and Mongo's shoulder tackle.

If we're just counting related and not necessarily siblings Eddie was in WWE for a year while Chavo was still in WCW.

Magic_Ceiling_Fan posted:Does the WWE actually own the rights to Doink the Clown? I'm curious because he still makes appearances in WWE being portrayed by other wrestlers, but apparently Matt Borne still plays him in the indies. I once worked with a Doink that was simply advertised as "The Wrestling Clown" since the promoters wanted to play it safe (although he was verbally referred to as Doink at the show itself). My favorite workaround was an old firehouse show flyer that just took out the "i" and called him "Donk."

However, WCW never called him and refused to answer his phone calls. All the while Lanny got paid. It seems like its just WCW being WCW.

I've heard that it was a sort of deal they had with Savage. They could have him but they needed to have Lanny too. Then they didn't really want to use him so his salary was just kinda' thought of as part of Randy's. Don't quote me on this, though.
