UM sold hyosung bikes as well as their own, but they ironically sold better under the UM branding than the Hyosung branding. They closed a little while back, so I wouldn't buy one of their bikes. I wouldn't have bought one if they were still around, but now that they're gone it's a definitive no.

Well realistically you'll just loop it and say ow and then get up and sell it. I would personally just weld a loving wheelie bar on the bitch and go WOT as much as I loving wanted, but that's just me. Either way, I wouldn't do poo poo with it for 500 dollars. Maybe 100, tops. If the owner blows you while you hand over the cash.

Tempted to buy this thing. Ad seems pretty fishy but who knows. A shop put it on the dyno but it doesn't run? Huh?

I've been wanting to do a metric bobber. Might have to go look at it and offer him 250 bucks for it.

Edit: Doesn't say it has a title so that's probably the catch.

Best of luck. CB750 K series are generally not easy to kill. The molested example you found, however probably has a broken cam chain.

the girlfriend used to ride when she lived in the UK, she had a Benneton CB600, so my excuse is to get this one for her to use. This would be about the right vintage, maybe a bit older, and for $1500 for such a pretty bike

More like 120-130 optimistic crank HP. Still insane for a dirt bike though.

Hard to break an XT550, although those motors have a bad rap for driving newbs' knees into their chins if proper starting technique is not used.

Then I say two words "Road Trip"

I LOVE old Goldwing bobbers and cafes so you should not take my advice. I'm completely biased. That is an awesome looking bike, though. Assuming what he says about it is true.

Edit: But wait...the auction says the cafe in question is in Canton, MI?

Roger that. Just a lame-o attempt at humor--these were intended to race to the next juke joint three blocks away, but that thing could hit one three states away. Well, maybe if they were tiny states.

I coincidentally stumbled across this bad motor scooter. One piece fiberglass, four bolts, and I'm sure when the wind gets under it at highway speeds it wants to go airborne. I want it anyway:
