If you ever wanted to see narcissism personified you should look at Kayne's twitter. It really is something wonderful. We need more people like Kanye West in this world. All that aside, I absolutely loved Graduation and I'm pumped on this release.

If "Power" is any indication, this album is gonna be insane. Here's his recent acapella performance at a Facebook press conference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9zKbhZgSXho

I just liked 808s and Heartbreak because it was an affirmation that Daft Punk's production styles and techniques are the standards by which a "good production" is measured these days. Maybe no one has realized it yet, but their ideas have revolutionized what we consider to be modern, mainstream music. Perhaps there is still hope for the American musical culture... I've never been more excited to listen to top 40 bullshit radio. Listen to any of Akon's tracks or "Paranoid" by Kanye West to hear what I'm talking about. Akon completely apes the house norm of sidechaining the beat, creating a really bassy and "pumping"/"choking" sound across the mix, while Kanye uses Auto-Tune+Vocoders (another Daft Punk innovation) as well as analog synths to create the quite unique sound of the album. Did anybody notice the pseudo-Moog Voyager sound across the entire album??

I never deserted Kanye, new album is gonna be awesome just like all of his other albums. Late Registration > College Dropout > 808s > Graduation. Also I don't think it's called Good-rear end Job anymore but that's liable to change ten more times.

Kanye is an insane douchebag, but he is also the most musically interesting and consistent artist in all of hip hop. I just wish he made a full video for Power instead of his weird teaser clip.

Don't forget that he's also a gay fish But seriously, I listened to that new track with Beyonce a few nights ago. It was actually weird hearing him without auto tune again after 808s. Wasn't a particularly strong track, but I'm still interested to see how this new album is going to turn out. Watching that clip of the Power video now. Holy poo poo, he really is insane. And 21st Century Schizoid Man is not at all a track I'd expect Kanye West to sample.

It's just a piece of moving art. It's made for you to project it on your wall. Hey guys have you ever heard of Daft Punk? They pioneered sampling, dance music, autotune and vocoders. Anyway, what has me most pumped about this album is beats coproduced by RZA, Q-Tip, Pete Rock and DJ Premier. A Premo beat getting 'Yeified should be awesome. Also its probably worth mentioning that S1 from Strange Fruit Project produced Power.

I loved 808s and Heartbreak so it's pretty much impossible for me not to like this. Plus from the leaked song titles this could be a hilarious journey of him being pissed at everyone at the beginning of the album and learning to chill the gently caress out by the end.
