I know the Skate series has video/photo modes but on GT4 you could save your screenshotsphotographs to a USB memory stick

Nah, I didn't use any modifier. I really don't shoot food stuff that often so I'll be honest, I am not the best at it. You can see another restaurant I did here:

I shot every photo on the webpage, even the materials they used for the background.

You are supposed to be taxed when you buy brand new/high value stuff oversea and send it through US custom though?

I've purchased three lenses and my 7D from them and am days away from buying my first L lens through them. They have great customer service.

Some DigitalRev employee spent several days spamming my local craigslist with ads for lens, all because some guy posted an ad for the same model, and was *only* asking $50 less than Digitalrev's price. The ads always got flagged, but he kept reposting about 10-20 times a day for 2 or 3 days straight. I replied to one, yelling at him for spamming, telling him that ads for dodgy Hong Kong retailers isn't what craigslist is for, that he's only making himself look like a jackass, and making his business look even less reputable (their resellerratings score is 4/10, fwiw).

Instead of replying to me directly, he posts my email on craigslist along with some insane rant, quoting random unrelated comments from my website as proof that I'm...well, I'm not quite sure what his point was. Then, he starts reposting this several times a day:

Yep, DigitalRev.

Hrm. I wasn't too sure before because of his accent. He sounds as arrogant British as you can be (at least to my Belgian ears).

Well, no use then. They're somewhat cheaper than that German online shop I'm always ordering from, but import taxes would jack DigitalRev's prices over the German shop's ones.

Whenever i buy from DigitalRev (To Australia) They always factor in the taxes before I checkout. So I won't be hit with anything coming through customs.

I've bought a bunch of things from there including my 7D. I think they are great. At least compared to local Australian prices even with the digitalrev warranty.

Start the rumor now: The new Canon 1DMarkV will have this very sensor. Instead of 10 shots per second burst, it'll be 10 seconds per shot burst. Sure, it'll be noisy, but they'll have definitively won the megapixel battle.

I think you are aiming too low with the 1DmkV - let's claim that the G12 will have it.

Those pixels are 1.89 microns wide. An aperture of f/1.4 will produce an airy disk almost exactly 1.89 microns wide. Therefore, if you stop down past f/1.4, you are reducing image quality. What would be cool is if they used pixel binning to get a lower effective resolution but boost low light performance, using values from adjacent pixels to help distinguish between sensor noise, hot pixels, and actual light.

That's a pretty amazing test roll.
It's also a pretty good example of just how little exposure latitude you have on reversal film. The hand-cranked camera was making blown out highlights at a specific point in the operator's rotation two times a second.
