Several of those incidents were not perpetuated by Muslims. Sirhan was born and raised Christian. The 1972 Olympic Massacre was carried out by Black September, a decidedly secular Palestinian militant group. The Achille Lauro was hijacked by the Palestine Liberation Front, which the ADL describes as "Formerly Communist, but primarily secular and nationalist since the fall of the Soviet Union." And of course, just because a Muslim person does something naughty doesn't mean they did it for religious reasons.

Most of the offenders didn't wear "Muslim" clothing or poo poo like that anyway, and it's not as if Muslims hold big signs designating their faith. If you were going to try to profile Muslims, you'd just have to settle with detaining lots of brown skinned people for no reason.

As far as I can tell through Wikipedia, there have been 29 acts of terror by Islamic extremists on US soil.

There have been 150 acts of violence against abortion clinics, including arson, bombings, or shootings.

Which, of course means, pro-lifers really need to be profiled.

According to that FBI terrorism report only 6% of terrorist attacks in America have been carried out by Muslim groups over the past 30 years. That compares to 7% of terrorist attacks being carried out by Jewish groups and I think 25% by animal rights activists.

White supremacist and extreme right wing religious factions are profiled by DHS, but its much tougher to stop them since normally they work solo/in small, isolated groups and are completely terrified/paranoid of the government so they go out of their way to make it nearly impossible to track and stop them. When it is 6 dudes in bumfuck Idaho that don't use the Internet or phones to contact one another, it becomes rather tough to stop them. Hell, that one guy hid out in the NC woods for like 6 years, dealing with that poo poo is not easy.

Sorry got a new email:

quote:

If every school principal gave this speech at the beginning of the next school year, America would be a better place.

To the students and faculty of our high school:

I am your new principal, and honored to be so. There is no greater calling than to teach young people.

I would like to apprise you of some important changes coming to our school. I am making these changes because I am convinced that most of the ideas that have dominated public education in America have worked against you, against your teachers and against our country.

First, this school will no longer honor race or ethnicity. I could not care less if your racial makeup is black, brown, red, yellow or white. I could not care less if your origins are African, Latin American, Asian or European, or if your ancestors arrived here on the Mayflower or on slave ships.

The only identity I care about, the only one this school will recognize, is your individual identity -- your character, your scholarship, your humanity. And the only national identity this school will care about is American. This is an American public school, and American public schools were created to make better Americans.

If you wish to affirm an ethnic, racial or religious identity through school, you will have to go elsewhere. We will end all ethnicity-, race- and non-American nationality-based celebrations. They undermine the motto of America, one of its three central values -- e pluribus unum, "from many, one." And this school will be guided by America's values.

This includes all after-school clubs. I will not authorize clubs that divide students based on any identities. This includes race, language, religion, sexual orientation or whatever else may become in vogue in a society divided by political correctness.

Your clubs will be based on interests and passions, not blood, ethnic, racial or other physically defined ties. Those clubs just cultivate narcissism -- an unhealthy preoccupation with the self -- while the purpose of education is to get you to think beyond yourself. So we will have clubs that transport you to the wonders and glories of art, music, astronomy, languages you do not already speak, carpentry and more. If the only extracurricular activities you can imagine being interesting in are those based on ethnic, racial or sexual identity, that means that little outside of yourself really interests you.

Second, I am uninterested in whether English is your native language. My only interest in terms of language is that you leave this school speaking and writing English as fluently as possible. The English language has united America's citizens for over 200 years, and it will unite us at this school. It is one of the indispensable reasons this country of immigrants has always come to be one country. And if you leave this school without excellent English language skills, I would be remiss in my duty to ensure that you will be prepared to successfully compete in the American job market. We will learn other languages here -- it is deplorable that most Americans only speak English -- but if you want classes taught in your native language rather than in English, this is not your school.

Third, because I regard learning as a sacred endeavor, everything in this school will reflect learning's elevated status. This means, among other things, that you and your teachers will dress accordingly. Many people in our society dress more formally for Hollywood events than for church or school. These people have their priorities backward. Therefore, there will be a formal dress code at this school.

Fourth, no obscene language will be tolerated anywhere on this school's property -- whether in class, in the hallways or at athletic events. If you can't speak without using the f-word, you can't speak. By obscene language I mean the words banned by the Federal Communications Commission, plus epithets such as "friend of the family," even when used by one black student to address another black, or "bitch," even when addressed by a girl to a girlfriend. It is my intent that by the time you leave this school, you will be among the few your age to instinctively distinguish between the elevated and the degraded, the holy and the obscene.

Fifth, we will end all self-esteem programs. In this school, self-esteem will be attained in only one way -- the way people attained it until decided otherwise a generation ago -- by earning it. One immediate consequence is that there will be one valedictorian, not eight.

Sixth, and last, I am reorienting the school toward academics and away from politics and propaganda. No more time will devoted to scaring you about smoking and caffeine, or terrifying you about sexual harassment or global warming. No more semesters will be devoted to condom wearing and teaching you to regard sexual relations as only or primarily a health issue. There will be no more attempts to convince you that you are a victim because you are not white, or not male, or not heterosexual or not Christian. We will have failed if any one of you graduates this school and does not consider him or herself inordinately lucky -- to be alive and to be an American.

Now, please stand and join me in the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag of our country. As many of you do not know the words, your teachers will hand them out to you.

"There will be no more attempts to convince you that you are a victim because you are not white, or not male, or not heterosexual or not Christian."

It's my understanding that these groups should no longer be taught that they are victims because they have every right and privelege the same as any other great American Citizen who loves their country and are every bit as valuable to America as a White, Male, Christian non-GAY.

But you have included gays in this list. I believe that homosexuality is a deep rooted sin, and to display yourself as such in public should not be encouraged. Our legal and education systems should not be encouraging students to believe that being GAY is somehow equatable with being man or woman, or black or white.

YOU have (hopefully NOT on purpose) just informed the world that you believe that being GAY is the same as being WHITE or CHRISTIAN and that they deserve the same respect. THEY DO NOT.

Please explain, or I may be forced to infom my email tree that you and your website and radio show are homosexual friendly and are not to be listened to or respected in any way.

THANK YOU

It's just loving disgusting that there's such finesse and effort applied to making the generic "Hey, non-white/male/straights you aren't victims, we're victims of your incessant cries to be treated equally" into a non-gibberish format with no immediate red flags (to people who aren't looking for them anyway).

The entire gist of these things is "America is definitively a white, male, straight, christian nation that is now benevolent enough to not outright hate, maim and kill people who don't fit the formula. And you are soooooooo ungrateful for that privelege, which now gives me license to be the huge rear end in a top hat I already am."

All of the clubs based on ethnicities/nationalities encourage people not of that group to attend because they want to educate people about different cultures. Are they just insular enclaves in other places?

Here's a good one:

quote:

This is a heads up regarding Progressive Auto Insurance. You know who they are. They’re the ones with the clever television ads featuring the perky brunette actress all dressed in white. What you might not know is that the chairman of Progressive is Peter Lewis, one of the largest funders of the left in America . He's your typical rich spoiled kid who took over the company from his father and apparently feels "guilty" for his success and now dedicates himself to making it impossible for anyone else to become wealthy.

Between 2001 and 2003, Lewis funneled $15 million to the ACLU, the group most responsible for destroying what's left of America's Judeo-Christian heritage. Indeed, Lewis is himself an ACLU member. One of the ACLU projects he earmarked his funds for was an effort to sue school districts who have drug testing policies. In other words, this idiot wants teachers to be able to use drugs without fear of exposure. I wonder what he would think if all his own employees came to work drugged out every day.

Lewis also gave $12.5 million to MoveOn.org and American Coming Together, two key components of the socialist left. The former group is perhaps the main group used by the Obama forces to organize their activists; the latter group is a 527 political action group that essentially served as a front for the SEIU union thugs who ran ACORN. His funding for these groups was conditional on matching contributions from George Soros, the international socialist who finances much of the Obama political network.

It's disturbing that Lewis made a fortune as a result of capitalism but now finances a progressive movement that threatens to destroy the free enterprise system. He reminds me somewhat of Armand Hammer, the former head of Occidental Petroleum who did business with Joseph Stalin and became his good friend, around the same time Stalin was executing businessmen all over the USSR .

What angers me further is the way this company is targeting television shows watched by conservatives such as Fox News. Peter Lewis is making a fortune off of conservative Americans so that he can destroy our country. He's banking on no one finding out who he is. I think it's time we expose this clown.

Here's one I got from my CRAZY uncle. lol

quote:

I'm admittedly not an expert in this matter, but I recently watched this video on Islam and it got me very interested in the subject. The video covers three major facts about Islam that are very troubling:

1. Islam has not been hijacked. The Bible was written by multiple people over hundreds of years. It contains vague stories full of contradictions that Christians interpret as they please. The Koran was written by one person during the course of his lifetime and is not nearly as vague - most of the Koran consists of clear, direct commands. Moreover, contradictions do not apply the way they do in Christianity because when there is a contradiction, the verse written later supersedes the previously-written verse. Therefore, the Koran is a lot less open to interpretation than the Bible. As it happens, Mohammed wrote the more peaceful parts of the Koran earlier in life, so a lot of peaceful passages people quote have actually been abrogated.

2. Islam is more all-encompassing than Christianity. Specifically, it is much more political. Islam and Sharia go hand in hand. Whereas Christians have many differing political views, Muslims must follow Sharia, period. Sharia is, of course, inherently incompatible with democracy because it specifies that there be a supreme ruler. Moreover it is extremely degrading to women and establishes brutal punishments for drinking, gambling, being homosexual, adultery, not wearing a head scarf, and criticizing Sharia or Islam in any way, plus a whole bunch of other things. Furthermore, Islam identifies all non-believers as enemies, and attempts to convert people with force as opposed to the Christian approach of trying to convert people by genuinely convincing them.

3. Whereas other religions encourage honesty at all times, Islam allows followers to lie if it means protecting Islam. When a Muslim quotes a peaceful verse from the Koran it is perfectly acceptable for him to knowingly neglect to mention that the verse has been superseded. But people don't know this; they think the Koran is open to interpretation the way the Bible is and as such do not examine these claims critically.

Of course, sources for these claims are presented at the end of the video.

I have nothing against Muslims, but I have a serious problem with Islam. Muslims who are against terror are not following their religion. Furthermore people who say "I know plenty of Muslims and they're great people" are most likely referring to Muslims in the West; in Islamic countries people take Islam much more seriously (if you don't you can be killed)!

I myself am Agnostic. I dislike all religion but am genuinely terrified of Islam for the three aforementioned reasons in addition to numerous others. Neither the video nor the website were written by bigoted people; on the contrary they explain their stance on Islam very logically.

YOU WORRY ME!' By American Airlines Pilot - Captain John Maniscalco

I've been trying to say this since 911, but you worry me. I wish you didn't. I wish when I walked down the streets of this country that I love, that your color and culture still blended with the beautiful human landscape we enjoy in this country. But you don't blend in anymore. I notice you, and it worries me.

I notice you because I can't help it anymore. People from your homelands, professing to be Muslims, have been attacking and killing my fellow citizens and our friends for more than 20 years now. I don't fully understand their grievances and hate, but I know that nothing can justify the inhumanity of their attacks.

On September 11, ARAB-MUSLIMS hijacked four jetliners in my country. They cut the throats of women in front of children and brutally stabbed to death others. They took control of those planes and crashed them into buildings killing thousands of proud fathers, loving sons, wise grandparents, elegant daughters, best friends, favorite coaches, fearless public servants, and children's mothers.

The Palestinians celebrated, the Iraqis were overjoyed as was most of the Arab world. So, I notice you now. I don't want to be worried. I don't want to be consumed by the same rage and hate and prejudice that has destroyed the soul of these terrorists But I need your help. As a rational American, trying to protect my country and family in an irrational and unsafe world, I must know how to tell the difference between you, and the Arab/Muslim terrorist.

How do I differentiate between the true Arab/Muslim Americans and the Arab/Muslim terrorists in our communities who are attending our schools, enjoying our parks, and living in OUR communities under the protection of OUR constitution, while they plot the next attack that will slaughter these same good neighbors and children?

The events of September 11th changed the answer. It is not my responsibility to determine which of you embraces our great country, with ALL of its religions, with ALL of its different citizens, with all of its faults. It is time for every Arab/Muslim in this country to determine it for me.

I want to know, I demand to know, and I have a right to know, whether or not you love America . Do you pledge allegiance to its flag? Do you proudly display it in front of your house, or on your car? Do you pray in your many daily prayers that Allah will bless this nation, that He will protect and prosper it? Or do you pray that Allah with destroy it in one of your Jihad's? Are you thankful for the freedom that only this nation affords? A freedom that was paid for by the blood of hundreds of thousands of patriots who gave their lives for this country? Are you willing to preserve this freedom by also paying the ultimate sacrifice? Do you love America ? If this is your commitment, then I need YOU to start letting ME know about it.

Your Muslim leaders in this nation should be flooding the media at this time with hard facts on your faith, and what hard actions you are taking as a community and as a religion to protect the United States of America . Please, no more benign overtures of regret for the death of the innocent because I worry about who you regard as innocent. No more benign overtures of condemnation for the unprovoked attacks because I worry about what is unprovoked to you. I am not interested in any more sympathy. I am only interested in action. What will you do for America - our great country - at this time of crisis, at this time of war?

I want to see Arab-Muslims waving the AMERICAN flag in the streets. I want to hear you chanting 'Allah Bless America ' I want to see young Arab/Muslim men enlisting in the military. I want to see a commitment of money, time, and emotion to the victims of this butchering and to this nation as a whole.

The FBI has a list of over 400 people they want to talk to regarding the WTC attack. Many of these people live and socialize right now in Muslim communities. You know them.

You know where they are. Hand them over to us, now! But I have seen little even approaching this sort of action. Instead I have seen an already closed and secretive community close even tighter. You have disappeared from the streets. You have posted armed security guards at your facilities. You have threatened lawsuits. You have screamed for protection from reprisals.

The very few Arab/Muslim representatives that HAVE appeared in the media were defensive and equivocating. They seemed more concerned with making sure that the
United States proves who was responsible before taking action. They seemed more concerned with protecting their fellow Muslims from violence directed towards them in the United States and abroad than they did with supporting our country and denouncing 'leaders' like Khadafi, Hussein, Farrakhan, and Arafat.

If the true teachings of Islam proclaim tolerance and peace and love for all people, then I want chapter and verse from the Koran and statements from popular Muslim leaders to back it up. What good is it if the teachings in the Koran are good, and pure, and true, when your 'leaders' are teaching fanatical interpretations, terrorism, and intolerance? It matters little how good Islam SHOULD BE if huge numbers of the world's Muslims interpret the teachings of Mohammed incorrectly and adhere to a degenerative form of the religion. A form that has been demonstrated to us over and over again. A form whose structure is built upon a foundation of violence, death, and suicide. A form whose members are recruited from the prisons around the world. A form whose members (some as young as five years old) are seen day after day, week in and week out, year after year, marching in the streets around the world, burning effigies of our presidents, burning the American flag, shooting weapons into the air. A form whose members convert from a peaceful religion, only to take up arms against the great United States of America, the country of their birth. A form whose rules are so twisted, that their traveling members refuse to show their faces at airport security checkpoints, in the name of Islam.

We will NEVER allow the attacks of September 11, or any others for that matter, to take away that which is so precious to us: Our rights under the greatest constitution in the world. I want to know where every Arab Muslim in this country stands and I think it is my right and the right of every true citizen of this country to demand it. A right paid for by the blood of thousands of my brothers and sisters who died protecting the very constitution that is protecting you and your family.

I am pleading with you to let me know. I want you here as my brother, my neighbor, my friend, as a fellow American. But there can be no gray areas or ambivalence regarding your allegiance, and it is up to YOU, to show ME, where YOU stand. Until then.
