JawnV6 posted:my understanding is that cats will basically shred anything they detect that you don't want them to shred not necessarily. my cats leave the couch p much alone, but the living room rug is a prime scratchin target, which i guess is fine because you cant tell i guess im lucky in that neither of my clawed cats mind having their nails trimmed. jackson just thinks it's some sort of game and tries to bite the clippers until he gets bored and then he tries to escape. my brother's cat fuckin hates it tho, and will scream bloody murder the entire time

The way we do claws is I sit wit the cat on his back wedged between my legs, head furthest away from me. I grab his back paws in one had, then one front paw with the other hand, then my GF grabs the remaining paw in one hand and trims the claws with the other. Then switch legs as each paw is trimmed.

To fix this lack of cat, here, have some Dr. Maru. It was revealed sunday that he has a Ph.D in Broccoli and knows all about this tasty selenium-containing vegetable.

there are so many good kitten ages the age when they can climb you like a tree and it doesn't hurt much the age when they get the ambition but not the coordination of adult cats the age when they try to murder your feet unexpectedly
