Yeah, with his kangaroo skin hat. He was on today's episode as well. He won.

From the sounds of it Jon Stewart gives him some stick, rather then brown nosing him for 30 minutes.

The pHo posted:It's a shame, because it's a format we do well but with, generally, terrible guests. With the right mix of both American and British people (e.g. it was evident for a long time that Peter Serafinowicz and Will Arnett got along even before Running Wilde, and it extends beyond those guys) Just out of curiosity, where was this evident? I can remember a scene in, maybe the Peter Serafonowicz show where they're both strolling with their showbiz wives and bump into each other, but are there any other instances of collaboration?

Jawidar posted:His partner was equally goony: It was only because the jackpot had already been won the day before. It starts at £1000 with an extra £1000 being added every day the jackpot isn't won, plus £250 for every pointless answer found during the show. If they had gone a week without a winner the jackpot would be a much healthier sum, over £7000. I watch this show quite a lot, it's much better than Deal or No Deal.

Re: Getting On It is a new series, the first episode was directed by Peter Capaldi, who will be appearing later on in the series too. Gonna be a 6 episode season rather than 3. Also it is brilliant, and probably the second most realistic piece of fiction I've ever witnessed after The Wire.

I've taken to playing along with The Million Pound Drop online. I'm not sure why, but it's quite fun. I can never resist just plonking all my money on my best guess if I'm not sure though. I rarely split my imaginary money up. I suppose that makes the whole thing a bit pointless.

It's never a good thing when the host is consistently outwitted and outcharmed by everyone else on the panel. They should have given Howard Marks or Badly Drawn Boy that hosting role, they were both great. Hell, even her from N-Dubz was entertaining enough compared to Tate.

Catherine Tate is an act, it's forced and you can tell. Which makes it even worse. The best example being the awful slag/slang gag.
