If all of the Scott Pilgrim screenshots I've seen so far take place in clubs, and that one from a party, being darker would seem to make more sense. If I remember correctly most of the filming here in Toronto took place at night during the winter. I haven't seen the movie yet, so what do I know.doctor thodt posted:Mr. Nobody is getting a Canadian release December 7 This should be great. Does the 3d only appear at certain intervals and on particular objects in the films, or does the entire picture have depth to it like Avatar, but it just looks wrong? What looks off about the 3d? I didn't get a chance to see either of these during their theatrical release.

This is probably the last thing anyone cares about, but the tin case for The Pacific is really amazingly beautiful. In addition to that, today I grabbed The Sound of Music, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, The Bridge on the River Kwai and White Christmas. Awesome day for the classics.

The World at War The decision to reframe from 1.33:1 to 1.78:1 is controversial, but it seems to be an extremely careful reworking. They actually went shot-by-shot to adjust the framing instead of a straight center-crop.

I doubt it, and aside from reducing the number of discs and maybe having some features similar to Generation Kill (where they list all the characters, have maps or explain lingo) I don't think visually there's much of a need to upgrade. I picked up the set on eBay for cheap and honestly wouldn't have minded paying full price for it either.
