It's a supplement so it's (mostly) naturally found in your body. It's designed to regulate your sleep schedule so it'll put you to sleep about 10-15 minutes after taking it, keep you out, and wake you up sharply about 7-8 hours later. You'll feel full of energy when you wake up, it's really, really strange. I don't know the regularity you're supposed to take it with though. I took one two nights in a row and the first night was perfect. The second night I slept for about 11 hours, was late to work, and felt like I'd been hit by a truck the night before. Now I just take it every few weeks when I've stayed up too late and my schedule gets wonky.

It helps me reset my sleep cycle without noticeable side effects. Three milligrams provides me a solid six hours of restful sleep.

I tried melatonin after someone (perhaps in this very thread) recommended it to me, and I can't say that it does anything for me. Then again, I was looking for something to help me stay asleep through the night, and I was told melatonin just helps you get to sleep. I certainly wasn't kept asleep, nor did I wake up any later than normal (which is at least 15 minutes before my alarm anyway ).

This is a really stupid question but I can't for the life of me figure this out. I am working on organizing the file cabinets at my job. I have to make the little labels by hand, is there a template I can get somewhere online to fill in with the names so that it's all uniform instead of me typing up half the list, and forgetting what font I was using and going to a different one? I tried Googling but I can't really find anything. I think I suck at Google.

Are you a guy or a girl? If you're buying Levi 501s or some other classic cut of jean and the legs are too tight for you, maybe your legs are the problem? Also, check the cut of the jeans on your favorite brand/stores online storefront. They usually give you a good description of how everything is cut (waist/hips/crotch/legs). Try looking at your favorite/local outdoor store. Lots of these places, like REI, carry a huge range of comfy clothing designed for travel and outdoor use that you won't find at most lovely department stores. Personally, I freaking love the pair of Kuhl jeans that I'm wearing right this second.

Forgive me for posting again, for as much as I like to complain that my country is bombarded with foreign media there occasionally comes a time when your lot confuses me. How come the US (or US news networks) label states/areas as red for Republican and blue for Democrats? Over here the main "left" party is represented by the colour red, because you know, socialism and poo poo. At what point (and for what reason) did you guys decide that the extreme right wing should be given that leftist hue, and should I now be afraid of Republicans under the bed?

Does anyone have a link to dating tips for men that aren't all about pick-up techniques or for sex hounds? I usually struggle to maintain a relationship after the first couple of dates, but that's often due to boredom. Why is it that other people seem to flawlessly transition from "first date" to boyfriend/girlfriend status?

A good friend of mine who lives halfway across the US is looking to get a violin for her 8 year old son who is interested in learning. She's broke as hell and feels bad that she can't buy one for him. I was thinking it would be a nice Christmas surprise to order one from Amazon or Musicians Friend and have it delivered to her house in time for Christmas. The problem is, I don't know poo poo about violins or bows. As a guitarist, I know that the worst thing to do is buy the kid a beginner instrument that is such a pile of poo poo that even an experienced musician would find it to be damned near unplayable - so that rules out $30 Wal Mart violins. Can anybody recommend me a workable starter violin in the $100-300 range?

You'll have to have him measured, depending on his size he'll need anything from a 1/4-3/4, or if he's huge, even a full size violin. Of course, this creates the whole problem of what to get him when he outgrows his size. Also, not to be the equivalent of the biking snobs, but there's really not any difference in quality for violins under $400 or so. They all kind of suck. Your best bet is to find a used one that's kind of beat up for a good price. If you look hard enough, you could probably find a decent used one for more like the $300 range, but don't expect a Stradivarius or anything. Can you afford to maybe pay for a rental contract through a local store there? Most music shops rent violins for band programs at various schools, that way if he's not to a full size yet, you can rent one (I think 1/2s were going for about $15-25 a month last time I worked at one), and upsize as needed, or return it when he inevitably loses interest. I'm trying to organize my music collection and something annoying keeps happening. When I try to move a folder, Windows tell me that it can't complete the operation because the file or folder is open in another program. I don't have any other programs open, and Lockhunter (a file unlocking program) says that explorer.exe is is the culprit. I assume this is some sort of folder preview or file indexing thing, but it gets really annoying when trying to move a bunch of folders having to unlock every single one. Is there a way to disable whatever is causing explorer to chokehold my files?

Not necessary a scam, but they definitely require the work from home people to buy materials. Example: people who do medical billing from home make money from home, and have to pay for the materials to get started. So it's a scam, because you have to pay up front, but it's not a scam, because you can actually make money long term.
