New The Ocean "Anthropocentric" has dropped. If you haven't heard them my favourite song is Rhyacian [Untimely Meditations] on the Precambrian album Between the new Bring Me The Horizon, Underoath, and this I am having a loving ball lately. The sampler had me just giddy over the new cd, but "Faust" is just kind of meh. It seems like the musicianship is still there but the vocals seem to mediocre to mix well. Oh well I know I still will have to listen to it in entirety on the release date.

First off I gotta plug my buddies band, because they are legitimately awesome, My Buddy being the former Drummer from Daggermouth. https://www.myspace.com/withdrawal13 Secondly my friend from above is playing a show with Shai Hulud, and Joining their tour at the end of the month. Has anyone seen them this tour, and if so does anyone know what their setlist is? The new After The Burial leaked and it's legitimately awesome. Some tracks are definitely different than anything they've ever done, including clean vocals which don't sound horrible. This track is a good example. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WoutH3V1_Hk This is a for sure buy for me. MalConstant fucked around with this message at 17:00 on Nov 21, 2010 |

Surprised nobody mentioned this but Misery Signals lost a bassist and a guitarist. However, both the Morgans and Karl are still in the band so don't expect much to change. They'll be doing stuff within the coming months, so right on! http://www.noisecreep.com/2010/11/22/misery-signals-lose-members/

Sometimes I go to this small, dingy, dark bar in Sanford, FL. They have a jukebox that is usually playing your classic dive poo poo: classic rock, metallica, godsmack, kid rock, etc. Lo and behold, the jukebox has access to much of BTBAM. Nothing like plopping down a buck for white walls and swim to the moon, and watching everyone's wtf face for the next 14/19 minutes.

Of Malice and Magnum Heart I might just have a soft spot for it because Misery Signals was the first hardcore band I ever saw live. I went to my first show, they opened, and I officially had no idea what was going on, why kids were jumping off the stage, or how I was going to not die. Then they got to the breakdown in "The Year..." and I was completely sold. Rocked that album so hard and for so long.
