The zucchini too, it's better to buy fresh vegetables than frozen breaded ones. Though regular frozen vegetables are just as good. But who eats zucchini anyway?

So I've been trying to watch the Transformers 2 rifftrax today. Emphasis on trying. This piece of poo poo movie makes The Room look like a modern classic, I'm barely at the 60 minutes mark and I had to pause the movie and do something else (like make this post) several times to take a break from all the suck. The rifftrax itself is great and they call MB out on all his crap, but it's barely enough to make it tolerable.

It's weird, it seems to me that riffing works best on poo poo old movies, new ones still have the comedic element but for some reason the actual movie distracts me more which in return makes me want to shut it off. I couldn't even watch 1/3rd of The Room if I remember right.

They ended up streaming the paid short on the free page (I bought the short, but the link they provided never loaded). I do hope they sort it out, because the movie looks really hosed up (Santa and the Ice Cream Bunny).

Worse than New Moon, a movie in which the height of the action is a chick who can't act pulling a sparkling vampire out of sunlight to avoid exposing himself? Christ. I have the riff and I'm planning on experiencing this tomorrow. I honestly can't wait, which is sad to say because it's a Twilight movie and all, but the last two were made so hilarious by the riffs that I'm sure I'll enjoy laughing uncontrollably at this one too.

Oh dear lord this movie is bad. Airbender was garbage but at least it had some visuals to distract you, this is just pure eye/ear/brain poison. And yes, the riff is brilliant as usual.

Eclipse was actually almost somewhat watchable and had an actual plot arc. It was much better than the other two movies in that it was almost mediocre as opposed to utterly horrible.

I've been using Thrifty's guide to reauthoring the riffs onto a DVD, which has been working out pretty good so far - except I find that sometimes the movie drowns out the riffs or the riffs might drown out the quieter parts of the movie. Anyone know how to get around this? In the guide, he makes an offhand reference to using autoduck in Audacity, but never gets into details on how to use it, so any advise would be appreciated.

Audacity 1.3.9 (that's my version right now) or better 1. Make sure the riff is on the bottom, movie audio on top 2. Select the region of the movie audio to duck 3. Select Effect -> Auto Duck I set Duck amount to -20, Threshold to -40, everything else default or smaller

I find the first Twilight movie the most entertaining of the three just because it's so ineptly made. The third one is just tediously competent which I think is one of the reasons it dragged even with riffs.

I thought the fight scene was terrible. They spend the majority of the movie building up this "newborn army" as some massive threat and they end up getting defeated with little effort.
