Inverted Offensive Battle: Acupuncture Attacks Convert To 3D Penetration Tactics Taking Advantage of Deep Battle Opportunities

benito posted:

Anyone listen to Greg Fitzsimmons? I decided to go through a few episodes starting with the Norm MacDonald one. Not only could I barely hear Norm, but he sounded like he was barely conscious.

To be fair, that's Norm in literally every interview I've heard him in. Regarding Fitzdog, I've been listening to the podcast here and there recently and I like it. I think he can get off on weird tangents sometimes, and I also think that there are twenty other podcasts that do precisely what he does (without him being significantly better or more funny than them at it), but I still enjoy his interviews and rants.

I also just listened to CDR 72 in which James Adomian does his Paul Giamatti, and I honestly couldn't get enough of it. It's one of the best "saaaad clown!:smith:" sketches I think I've ever heard, and I hope they do more of them.

Just watched the CDR "We Are the World" thing. I found it pretty funny, although I freely admit that that's partially because I'm a huge fan of pretty much everyone in it. The best part was Hard 'n Phirm with Weird Al.:3:

edit: I also like how PFT is baffled by the "God has shown us...by turning stones to bread" line - that always seemed to be scripturally questionable, to say the least.

My friends and I started doing a comedy podcast called Serious Business with Successful People for fun about a month ago. We finally got some decent equipment. We each take turns discussing things we found on the internet, news stories, or personal experiences. Each episode is broken down into acts. It is pretty much just an hour to two hours of bullshitting about goony poo poo. We usually poo poo on a bad movie too. We are pretty new and probably not all that funny, any criticism/advice would be helpful too. Here, also I'm pretty terrible when it comes to web design.

Watched it too but was always a huge fan of the first one, IMO the best one. Before CDR released it I didn't know it existed, so I was shocked at the contents of the lyrics, even more shocked when I found out this was a huge moneymaker. "How dare you enjoy Christmas, I hope you are ashamed of yourself that you don't live in an eternal shithole like Africa."

I'm giving it a shot because of Fitzsimmons' appearances on other podcasts. Is it worth going through the back catalog of episodes?

This is actually one of my favorite podcasts to listen to when he has a guest. Though I do find his solo episodes to be pretty boring as Greg tends to just talk about whatever (politics, religion) and I can't stand that. The recent two part Zach Galifianakis Natalie Maines episode was another really funny one.

I'm usually one of the few here to defend her, however saying she's the best is a little strong. People here have points that she's not very good at improv.

I'll critique yours if you critique mine: https://www.digitalporridge.net

Mine is a friend and me talking about ourselves for about half an hour, I'm American & he's British. We've only done 7 episodes so far and I think we're going to start exploring the 'Atlantic divide' (more than we have so far) starting with this week's show.

My first reaction is that 1-2 hours is pretty long for a podcast unless you're established or pretty famous for a podcaster. I'll PM you what I think after I listen, if you want.

I don't necessarily mean that she's the literal best guest or my favorite, I just like her a lot and have never had any issue listening to her. She was killing me on CDR last week and I was pleasantly surprised to see her in Community (saw the episode before I heard her plug it)

Ok, fair enough. I guess I enjoy some of her type of improv, but she just doesn't hold up when it comes to everyone else. I was laughing though when she and Kevin Nealon were discussing how dry her humor was.

Jumping in with the Bob Ducca love. I'm glad they waited it out and let the character rest for a while. By the end of the summer Bob was starting to wear out his welcome JUST A LITTLE BIT, but his list was amazing. They never fail to make me lose it, which is only amplified by hearing the other people in the studio trying not to crack up. It's like the only thing that seems to consistently crack Scott up.

Scott mentioned that CDR has been played on the Stern show twice, and I know that one of them was Zach Galifianakis alluding to Mel Gibson's involvement in Hangover 2. Anyone know what the other deal was? Only thing I can think of was the Bruno MTV "controversy", but I'm pretty sure that ain't it.

I find it absolutely hilarious, but if you're not a fan of Eddie Pepitone it would probably be annoying to listen to at times as he can easily take over a discussion for a while. Sean Conroy is so goddamn funny though.

Episode 2 of Cyber Thug Radio is out as well, and Jerry O'Connell reading rap lyrics is an absolute joy. The bullying segment almost made me cry with laughter.
