There's a few good bait car videos by an anti-theft department in BC. They pretty much all follow the same formula, but there's some interesting ones: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7qRw_lQHM-Y This guy completely loses his poo poo. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ay0wH0MKv80 This guy's passenger is afraid of dogs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mu6d76sbG1M These guys are avid watchers of bait car videos. My city just launched a bait car program but I've yet to see any funny videos from them. We have kind of a rash of people stealing frameless-window Neons, going on a joyride and then striking buildings, so the bait cars here are probably all Neons.

They went to the trouble to mention that the other motors had higher displacement, but failed to mention that they virtually double the displacement with the turbo. Its not like an unbiased test, their job is to sell trucks, not make fair comparisons.

They're taking a big risk putting a small V6 into their flagship truck. They HAVE to prove that it can, and DOES, hang with the V8 trucks from other manuf's. I see nothing whatsoever wrong with what they're doing, it's a loving amazing marketing technique, and a huge leap forward in engine technology for trucks in this country.

Its not like turbocharged trucks are a new thing. Would you be surprised to find out that my 2.5L 4 cylinder starion goes uphill faster than my 1977 camaro with a whopping 5L V8? The camaro has twice as many cylinders, and twice the displacement, therefore it should be much faster right? wrong

Turbocharged full size pick-ups are kind of a new thing, when they aren't diesels. Does Chevy, Dodge, or Toyota make a full size with a gasoline turbo v6? No? That's why they tested it against the v8's.
