alright?
Yeah, an estimate using 15 mins and 42 miles is an average speed of 170 mph or so.

Personally I think it's crazy and I'm not too impressed. I mean, the guy has balls but he's one car away from dead for what? At least the Isle of Man TT or other road racers who hit that on streets are doing it for something, not a youtube video.

It'd be good footage tho.

I have to agree, also I think he's sort of dull he doesn't really go for the limit, he just drives fast on the highway anyone can do that... compare his ring paris trip (at night) to this one:

ofcourse this guy ended up dying when he tried to improve on his time.

I don't get this picture. It looks as though the rozzer has a passenger, and doesn't even have a license plate? Is this staged?
Edit: Wait they're both track bikes. This confuses me.

Also what the hell happend to your avatar, Silver?

I think the point is Z3n is a space cowboy on the edge of a frontier unknown to man, he's out there pushing the limits, trail braking into the abyss. Finding out where the edge of the razor is, turning to face the darkness and revving his 690 into it's vast gaze. You gotta live this to learn it bro.

It's a staged pic, with a police race team. Note the numberplates and track plastics on both bikes.

Your avatar goes away when you get banned and rereg.

alright?
So I've recorded a couple videos of routes around here that are interesting and was hoping to see more of that from others in the spring, maybe a thread and all that.

Anyway I've been messing with camera mounts, so far using a bar mount and a rear peg mount. I decided to try a cheap suction cup mount on the tail of the bike to see if I could get a more interesting view, as the bar and peg cams show mostly the same shot.

Great failure. (That's me with an rear end cheek off in turn, most of it is nothing but jacket. Swear I'm not riding crossed up, either.)

Maybe facing backwards will be more interesting, but to be honest it was December 31st and nearly 60 degrees and I couldn't be arsed with cameras for too long, had to get a ride in.

Guess I won't look like a motogp rider yet. Need a wider lens and a new mount.

Yeah, what is with people that actually try to blip the throttle on launch? Pick a launch RPM, weight the front, let out the clutch and slip appropriately to keep from looping. Ta-da!

This is a two-part process. Part one is letting them wear some ridiculous gear so that they stand out and have fun riding on a motorcycle. Part two is to compare riding a motorcycle to riding a horse.

The trick is to find a tomboy, really. Or perhaps a post-op.

My wife loves riding and has her license but we had to sell some bikes off for money reasons in the past. Now all we have is a lovely UJM, which only I ride, and we're saving up for a dual sport. She keeps saying she wants to wait to get back on because she really wants one, but I think she's scared because she hasn't ridden in about 4 years, and had a couple wrecks within her first six months. I figure the lovely UJM is the perfect way for her to get those nerves out before we get a new bike, but I can't quite convince her. Perhaps I should ask for advice in another thread.

I taught a couple of ladies the basics of riding when I had my DRZ. DRZs are great for that. Supermotos are so new rider friendly, and it's more cute than painful when/if they drop them.

They sag pretty good when you sit on them, and the downside to tall bikes is they're easy to drop. But when you don't care about dropping it...
