I'm really enjoying Scott Aukerman's terrible "street" questioner voice. "Talk about that poo poo."

I'm finally catching up on all my holiday break podcasts, and until the Winter Fairy Is Melting a Snowman remix, I had no idea that Howard Kremer is Dragon Boy Suede. I even heard him do the musical chart intros and I was like "hey, they got Dragon Boy Suede to do those!" and now I feel like an idiot.

Carolla's new news girl looks an awful lot like his old news girl... Click here for the full 800x450 image. I still pick and choose my episodes depending on the guest but I've had quite a few laugh out loud moments over the last few episodes.

There's a video on https://www.adamcarolla.com featuring Teresa and Alison discussing the passing of the torch and their similar physical appearances. Every episode is good.

I've been listening to Joe Rogan podcasts alll day at work this week, and I'm really enjoying them. He's actually not as much of a conspiracy theorist as I thought he was from his twitter posts, and I like his guests. I already loved his standup and this podcast is making him one of my favourite comedians overall

Marc Maron's head: A great place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there. Stand up comedians can be a sad crowd. And god drat I loving love to hate Adam Carolla. Every interview on his carcast podcast is "Quick! How can I make this about me? *10 minute rant about his gay son and insecure wife*" Cast Iron Brick posted:Does anyone know what's up with You Look Nice Today? There were maybe two episodes this year, and one of them was the obligatory live show at MaxFunCon. I really want there to be more episodes. It's the greatest podcast possible. and on the opposite side of the effort spectrum: Merlin Mann winds up on several of Leo Laporte's Twit podcasts, but if you really want to hear Leo dick around with his iphone for an hour while Merlin says a few nuggets of wisdom go on ahead. I think the first ep I ever heard was him talking about being a DJ in Reno (I won't say any more so as to not spoil it) and I was hooked! In other news: does anyone else listen to The Mediocre Show or See You Next Tuesday? On the newest SYNT Mike Pilat (of the Mediocre Show) totally slagged UYD and in particular Jah. Even though I love UYD I couldn't help but laugh, because he's kind of right. Mike's pretty annoying sometimes though. Just to put it out there: Check out See You Next Tuesday and start at the beginning, because Troy's kind of a badass and he's taking the format to a place where not a lot of people are going. Maybe like Paul F. Thompkins in that regard, though Troy is not nearly as seasoned of a performer. A PRIZED MULE! fucked around with this message at 09:36 on Jan 12, 2011 |

I'm probably going to have to move servers or something. It has to be a server traffic related thing. sigh. Good to know you can get it on the Zune marketplace though. I put it there but I don't get info about where the plays come from. Where are other people hosting their podcasts? I guess I average about 2000 downloads per show on average over the life of a show (say the 1st month its on the front page of the blog). I'm glad people are liking it but at the same time its loving annoying. I'd hate someone to stop listening because of that technical glitch. I'm positive if you delete it and re-download the file it would be the whole thing. Thanks for the heads up, though.

Lady Tomorrow now has a vocal role on the show which is cool. They're not the funniest, but somehow I just dig them. It's like a restaurant you go to where the food isn't that great, but somehow you really like hanging out there. I think Eric Tomorrow is a genuinely honest dude who's a totally nice guy. Who charted is awesome because of how off the wall Howard's questions are. "They're pretending an airplane is a shooting star, do you ever pretend an airplane is something it's not?" "She says she wakes up feeling like P Diddy, do you think as the day goes on she feels more like P Diddy or it wears off by lunch time?" "If you found out a guy you were dating was a vampire or a monster, what would you do?"
