It may not be the only thing but I know electro city needs to be as close to the bottom as you can manage.

Cream-of-Plenty posted:

Like Ragnarok said, that load order is definitely not ideal.

For example, the Electro-City modules should be as close to the end of the load order as possible. This goes for the Weapon Mod Expansion.esp and the other WME-related plugins, too. I'm not too familiar with using IWS and MAD together, but something about their arrangement doesn't seem right either.

I know BOSS gets a lot of heat because it isn't nearly as good as it is for Oblivion and FO3, but have you tried using that and seeing what it suggests?

OK, I found what was going wrong.

First, I followed your advice and used BOSS to auto-sort the load order, which moved Electro-City down near the bottom. It didn't work, so I moved Electro-City to the very bottom of the load order manually. Still didn't work.

So I unchecked all my mods and ran FalloutNV.esm by itself to see if it was a problem with the game. That worked, so I started enabling mods, one by one to see which was the culprit, starting with small stuff.

Turns out that it was the PKM mod that was causing the crashes...because I had failed to notice that it required Caliber to run. :saddowns:

So I plonked that in, reenabled everything and now it works. I haven't started a new game yet, but that'll be the next thing I do.

Thanks for the help, guys. :)

For future reference, FNVEdit is actually a great way to pinpoint missing master file errors like the one you experienced. If you can't load FNVEdit with all of your ESPs checked it will tell you exactly which .esp it's failing on and should tell you the name of the file required.

Is there a way to change how rifles are holstered? Like make it holster vertically as if it was slung over your shoulder, instead of magically stapled to your back diagonally? I can't find where that info is stored in the geck, or any mods that do it. Any ideas?

Out of curiosity, anyone know of the/a fix for the slightly tilted gun mesh when iron sighting? I've got about 4 revolvers that are iron sighted correctly as far as I can tell, but the mesh in game appears to be tilting to the left while the bullet fires straight. The mesh is fine and the iron sights also seem to be fine, so it's driving me crazy. If I can resolve it, I basically have another 4 or 5 perfectly working guns in my pack...

Back up the file before you try this, but look and see if the stock has a non-zero rotation transform. If it does, try Applying it. nifskope will warn you but try it anyway, I've found forgetting to reset transforms before exporting as .nif creates a mesh that looks OK but animates in strange directions.

Very well written blog to summarize the best mods in the game. I personally can’t play Fallout without mods like the shojo and Krystal race. Together, they mesh perfectly with the Animation Prostitution mod, yet another essential asset to the complete Fallout experience.

I for one think it’s a godsend that there are such hardworking people in the FO community willing to put their minds and efforts into creating something new and exciting for once amid all the same boring, banal crap you see in any other modding community. Sadly, their creativity usually goes unrecognized, and worse yet, are lampooned simply because they offer something different and nonconformist to the masses.

Also, as for the fail comments above, if you don’t like the content featured in this blog, then don’t download them. Just because you don’t like it, doesn’t mean you get to bitch and whine like little manbabies on the internet. You’re comments are irrelevant and unneeded.

Sick. I'm really looking forward to all of the melee weapons in this pack, especially the cricket bat.

I'm pretty bummed that the Underground Hideout hasn't worked well for me. With the ESP enabled, I get these momentary "pauses" and hiccups when looking in a direction, no matter where I am in game. The performance increase patch did nothing to solve this, and I'm hoping that a new patch will fix this.

Any other house mods that add similar functionality - most importantly, the mannequins, which are awesome.

I have permission to bring back any creature variations from the FO3 MMM. He has offered to help me with a menu system but even that may not be possible. :(

I intend to begin work on version 2.0 soon however my time is very much taken with helping Porject Nevada for at least another 2 weeks. In that time I may work on a bug fix patch or two for IWS.

Until then keep reporting bugs, and giving comments I am watching. :)

Is there anyway to change the 'take all' button so it's different then the "how many to take" button? I have this one box that has like 500 items in it and many of them are stacked from dozens of armor/item mods. So whenever I quickly try to sort anything I have to click the item, then click to confirm the stack size. But when I try to quickly do it to get all of them items out I accidentally click 'take all' when the item isn't stacked, so I end up instantly 10,000 weight encumbered and have to start all over, or reload.

This happens more then I would like to admit, and it's driving me loving batty.

I figured it out by changing an xml file. If anyone else would like to change the confirm stack size to 'f' instead of 'a' to avoid accidentally taking everything, you can put this file (quantitymenu.xml) into your data/menus folder and it will work if you use the default UI.

Disable the three Electro-City plugins -> Load the game -> Save -> Quit the game -> Enable the three Electro-City plugins -> Load the game
