Not that I know of, since that's the exact OS I have and I've never had an issue.

Ok, NVSE loads ONLY if I disable UAC and run through Steam. Disabling UAC and running through FOMM (which does recognize NVSE is there) doesn't work. Would installing Steam and/or FOMM outside Program Files (x86) do anything?

Probably as I have steam and thus NV installed to a separate partition with Windows 7 64 and don't have any issues with NVSE. Perhaps the thing where Windows restricts file permissions is interfering with the two.

Are there any kevlar vest models out as of now? I have been running around with the tactical vest, but it looks way out of place on my character, and to the setting. On another topic, is there any sort of tutorial as to how to add a weapon to WMX? I really want a P226 so that I can pretend my character is Jack Bauer, especially when he murders people simply because someone told him to.

There's an invisible armored vest mod that adds DR etc to any outfit, not a vest model but can give you extra protection and still wear whatever you want. Project Nevada is already a must have mod in my book after playing with it for a couple hours. The scope zoomability is great, the automatically expanding crosshairs are done well, and the grenade hotkey is so choice. I even like when you are running low on health the edges of the screen blur a bit. Gives a nice visual indication you're low on health without having to stare at your HP bar. The only thing I'm not digging too much is the damage graphic in your view when wearing goggles etc. Even wearing half-repaired sunglasses gives you a bunch of lens cracks in the field of vision. Hopefully there will be a way to turn that off in the module in the future. Otherwise, great mod, highly recommended. Mental Midget fucked around with this message at 05:36 on Feb 2, 2011 |

Well, Tailor Made NV adds a "body armor" piece that is basically just the Vault 34 Security vest without the vault uniform. You can wear it on top of other stuff...and it's lore-proof. As far as adding a P226 into the game, why would you want to add it to WMX specifically? If you want to make it so that the P226 can accept mods, you'll have to use nifskope to modify the .nif files yourself (or find a mod that already does that.) I believe there are a few mods floating around (19-20th Century Injection, for one) that adds either that or a P220 to the game.

I've got a fully modded out and iron sighted P226 in my weapons pack. Which is being tested and fixed this week with so far no issues found on the melee weapons and over half of the nearly 100 guns more or less fully functioning and iron sighted (though some may require tiny adjustments down the road once I finish the entire pack).

Expanded Traits' "True Grit" Trait (+5 DT and jack poo poo for AP) + XFO's DR / DT Overhaul allows me to finally create ISSAC APPLEBOTTOMS: A down-and-out adventurer who prides himself on moonshine and mutant beatings. The DT bonus allows me to prowl for unsuspecting targets whilst semi-nude. The gloves allow me tapdance my justice onto the hides of filthy beasts. Forgetting about Benny's betrayal the minute he climbs out of the grave, he beelines to Quarry junction to punch some Deathclaws in the tooth. EDIT: I'm not sure why Sunny Smiles appears to have plucked her eyebrows off of her face. My current theory is that my character has stolen them for his own selfish reasons. There is a menu for Project Nevada that lets you completely customize it - press escape, and the little Terminal down by the right hand corner will take you to the Project Nevada menu, which lets you turn features on and off, modify keybinds, etc. The menu is modular and will (hopefully) in the future provide a place for mods to add a configuration menu without having to clutter inventory space. You can turn off the visor overlay feature there. Also someone added Robocop's gun. I'm pumped.

If someone made a full Robocop armor outfit with gun I don't think I'd ever play anything else. Also with inserted sound clip - "Your move, creep" everytime the gun was drawn; and "Stay out of trouble" every time the gun was holstered. A Protectron could be modded into Ed-209 as your companion. Okay I am nerding out a bit too much about this. I tried the Batman/Catwoman mod, and while the armor looked cool it wouldn't let me exit the building without crashing my game so I had to delete it

Project Nevada is pretty awesome. I like that it adds a bullet time feature, even though I already had one. I use the other one for slowing down scope weave when I'm trying to line up a crucial headshot. It's how I took out Lupus Carniflex's (Or whatever his name is) squad before he even walked out the door in Nipton! Naky posted:I've got a fully modded out and iron sighted P226 in my weapons pack. Perhaps one of the testers could list them? Oh, and there's a list of the melee weapons a couple pages back I think.

I feel like a moron for asking, but how do I make a friendly character decide they hate the player and try and kill them? If I make a friendly NPC who has a dialog option of "You're a fuckin' n'wah, you know?" how can I make them say "Die, fetcher!" and attack me?

You'll have to add a script to that dialogue choice that will make them hostile. Don't ask me how, though. My scripting knowledge is limited to adding items to your inventory and making animation mods.

Yeah; I have a quest full of dialog for two characters, you take a gun from one to another, you can convince them to either meet up or go their separate ways and all this stuff works fine. I just want to make it so instead of pickpocketing the gun or reasoning the gun away from a dude, you can threaten him and he's all "Homie y'all don't wanna gently caress with this" and shoots you with said gun.
