True, but I'll take moto-hipsters over cruiser pirates. Easier on the eyes.

Getting kind of tired of these hipster moto-montages. Maybe its because I don't have speakers at work and they have awesome music, but who cares about some 20-somethings farting around on old bikes buying up old retro helmets and leather jackets? I sound like an old man, but really...who gives a gently caress?

I would care, because of the /5 BMW, but they were all modified. No self respecting vintage BMW owner modifies. Get out, hipsters.

There's a big Venn diagram overlap between DSLR video hobbyists and hipster bikers. Hence lots of videos. Ola fucked around with this message at 21:14 on Feb 15, 2011 |

Looks like a generic set of cruiser handlebars with moderate rise and limited backward bend. If you search around for "cruiser handlebars" or something similar you'll get a bunch of similar styles, I'm sure.

Does the force of turning keep your feet planted on the pegs? Do you use your outboard knee to stay on? Friction? Your outside knee locks into the cutout on the tank. Your outside foot is typically wedged between the peg and the footpeg mount, although this might vary depending on your leg length and the bike you're on. You want to use your core to keep your weight off the bars. Inside leg should be loose to avoid upsetting the bike when you drag a knee. The key is using your lower body and core to move around on the bike, and avoiding giving any inputs to the bike. I'd bet that a contributing factor to his little slide was that he holding too tightly on the bars as a result of trying to hang off like crazy. It's also why unless your bike fits you perfectly, you're going to want stompgrips or some other form of grip on the tank so you can comfortably lock into the bike without worrying about sliding off.

They probably made her drive around with the outriggers down for a while, and she hosed up the transition from four wheels to two.
