Buck has always been our go-to joke about a guy we know training to be a wrestler. "Your gimmick should be you are Buck Zumhofe but not as good." "I'd rather watch Buck Zumhofe in an Iron Man match." "Danny? He's like Buck Zumhofe only with less talent." Only the veterans laugh.

apsouthern posted:Why Should I Watch A Interview With Buck Zumhofe? Colt Cabana worked a show in the Midwest with Buck, who almost walked out without even wrestling because the promoter didn't give him a gimmick table. Buck also sells "Piledriver Peanuts," aka peanuts in ziplock baggies. He is truly the carniest of men.

Was that from a movie or did someone actually suicide dive off a balcony at some political event?

He'd get to stretch his legs as a character, would definitely get more TV time and experience the same kind of or more freedom than he was used to on ECW. Plus, there's an instant feud with Robbie E - Long Island versus Jersey.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O7c-niWhmEM New video for The Urban Wrestling Federation announces their 'talent lineup' and promises to destroy the competition. Their roster includes: Uncle Murder, Brisco, Billy Blue, Gorilla Zoe and Big Block. I don't think any of them are wrestlers (All rappers from what I can tell) but who needs wrestlers in a wrestling federation?

I posted these in the Podcast thread, but they're probably worth reposting. Bryan and Vinny reviewed an episode of Mid Atlantic Wrestling from 1982 that's on 24/7 right now. Quite possibly one of the worst wrestling shows ever. Everything on this show was awful. But a few moments stood above the rest as being so bad they became enjoyable. First here's the relevant part of the podcast who someone just uploaded as a response to my upload of the match https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l2gjdp8920Q And here's the match in full https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9ol8qLGaNQ And as a bonus one of the most charismatic promos I've ever seen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4UlsXhxl8gM

In my opinion the weekly Bryan and Vinny shows alone is worth the price of the subscription. Then you factor in the other shows, the podcast archive, the newsletters, and the newsletter archive and it's really worth the price. Can't say I'm a fan of The Board though.
