Yeah, it is pretty retarded. Of course they are going to pander to celebs, it is free advertising and all their fans will want to emulate them. Listening to TWUS, I never realized how much Gary curses. Seriously, every third word he says is "gently caress" and often, it's just added for color not due to anger or an extreme situation. It makes him sound kind of stupid.

Holy poo poo, Fred slaying me with the Gilbert laugh drops today. I think we have two awesome classic Stern bits so far this week: Ronnie doing live reads of the Ronnie TOPLESS drops while the crazy pet lady was on the phone, and using Gilbert's laugh drops to mock his getting fired for comments about Japan. I'm sorry but, ""Hey Gilbet, what do you think of THAT?" will get me every time. This morning I was laughing so hard that the back of my head ached.

I don't know, I thought it was a pretty good interview. Between the Eruption gag and the alien abduction story, I got more laughs out of it than most of the long interviews. And yes, T-O-P-L-E-S-S? has definitely made Ronnie more bearable, though I seem to remember him having a typical tiff with some random caller this morning. WHAT DO YOU DO FOR A LIVING HUH? And of course they're almost always unemployed.
