It's when they can't or things get malicious (making GBS threads in bags, hounding a WWE diva for her picture being used for a Japanese strip club flyer) that it goes too far. Of course, giving a drifter a ride to the wrong city is a pretty big rear end in a top hat thing to do, but I doubt it ruined the guys life.

He also has a touch of Bobby Heenan in his calling style in blatantly covering for the heels during the matches which works really well. He's no Jim Ross, but I don't think that many people are. One of his best points is that unlike Michael Cole, if the match is really cooking and is some serious five star poo poo he'll just go with the match and get excited and really put over the match instead of talking through it.

Hey, is there a term for when douchebag smarks in the audience in a wrasslin' show start to consider themselves an integral part of the experience and start doing deliberate attention-whoring stuff? I think the best example I can think of is that guy who wouldn't stop chanting Super Dragon or when Ring of Honor audiences start chanting "This is awesome" at stuff. EDIT: Also, what's the deal with this "Green Lantern Fan" fellow? I wouldn't be able to explain the stunt, but apparently video leaked online of them rehearsing it. The Great American Bash '04 main event got a Wrestlecrap entry. Even by 2004 the Dudleys were incredibly stale and the match itself makes no sense. The Undertaker saves Paul from the cement. . . In order to bury him in the cement anyway. Green Lantern Fan is an enormous douchebag who tries his very, very hardest to make sure he's the most important man on a show, including the wrestlers. He has a posse of ogres and trolls that accompany him to a show, which means he buys a lot of tickets. You will usually see him scalping tickets right outside the venue and yelling TICKETS!! I GOT TICKETS HERE!!!!!!!! before every show. He also times every match. The funniest instance of this is when (iirc) Samoa Joe beat Xavier for the title. GLF stands up and cheers for half a second, and then immediately checks his stopwatch to see how long the match was. There's two GLF stories that pissed me off the most. 1. Double Feature in 2008 in New Jersey, the shows where they taped the final scene of The Wrestler. They're about to shoot the scene where Ram makes an emotional speech to the crowd. Darren Aronofsky comes out and asks the crowd very nicely to watch in silence, and to not make any noise. So in the middle of the speech when Ram pauses for dramatic effect, GLF yells out WE LOVE YA RAM 2. Glory by Honor VI Night 1 in 2007 in Philadelphia. The first night of Misawa weekend. The main event is Misawa & KENTA vs. Morishima & Marufuji. The match goes on for awhile, but it doesn't feel like it had been. That is, until Misawa starts setting Morishima up for what looks like a big move on the top rope...and GLF, Timekeeper Extraordinaire, screams "10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1!!!!!!!!!" and they're forced to end the match with Morishima on top and everyone looking like an idiot because of that fat spergy gently caress.

I remember seeing him at Chikara's Baltimore show, which was also Manami Toyota's US debut. He didn't look like he was enjoying a single thing that was going on, and barely even looked interested when Toyota came out and wrestled her match. I saw him at Chikara's other Philly shows later that year and back in January, and had pretty much the same expression the whole show. I wanted to say to him, "You know, if you can't even be entertained by Chikara, maybe you shouldn't bother coming."
