you can clip one wing (the feathers, it's like trimming fingernails not declawing a cat or something) so that they can only fly a few feet yeah, or you could just keep your front door closed iono i think they're pretty cool pets. they can imitate sounds and sit on your head and if you have girls they lay eggs all over the place
